Can I simply remove my front shaft to make her a rear wheel drive or will i have some consequences?

So i've been doing a lot of reasearch and been finding that the intake and heads on an LQ9 are Perfect for a N/A motor and very capable of carrying large amounts of HP. So basically all you need is a cam, stall, headers, and throtle body. The gains from heads and intake along with re-routing pulleys is only 5-10 hp so hardley worth it. This is what i've read. I have not seen any dyno sheets comparing everything but i've seen HP numbers so i dont know if band with or peak are different but can anyone confirm or dismiss this with eveidence. For a N/A motor.

I know it is very illegal in every state, but i'm "in the business" so I should be fine. I know i can find them on ebay and amazon I just wanted to know if anyone has done it or knows of nice brands to look for.

Anybody no any white strobe kits for headlights and back up housings. I also need a blue and red LED setup for behind the grill. Any thoughts?

I just ordered led's for every light in my vehicle and HID's for the lows and highs. Ordered from different places for stuff that wasnt close to each other so you cant tell if the dont match haha. Cost me about $100 for all the led's and another $75 for the HID's.

I had mine ran through the trail wires but got sick of having them in that plug. I hard wired them then and had an issue because I didnt get enough connection with the turn signal wires so just make sure you look at the trailer wire diagram and make sure everything is good and snug.

not sure on the ohm rating but i got 3A 50V and they work perfect got the high 8 mod running on mine now

So this has been going on for a while but my mirrior's temp and compass direction screen will turn on and off at random times. When it happens the "on or off" for the air bag flickers but always stays on the compass and temp however will go on and off, the airbag ON/OFF flickers with the on and off of the compass part of course. When i was driving today it went out and wasnt coming back on so i tapped the mirrior and slid the cover over the wires down so i could wiggle the wires but nothing changed. It then came on and stayed on. The power button also does nothing to change it, i shut it off and the ON/OFF air bag part still flashed but the compass part was shut off. Has anyone seen/heard of this? Thanks! and sorry i misspelled VIEW

Very nice everyone! Does anyone have one with a super deep more mellow setup? I have a 68 camaro with a 350 and i have straights with small glass packs (california turbos) and i like the sound just a bit loud so im trying to find something to give me that old strong muscle car sound with as little drone as possible in the 2.5 rpm range

did you have to do any modifications of any sort to make it fit and it is the 7" one 2-din correct?

Okay, so I have our factory bose system in my truck atm and want to put a touch nav, ideally with dvd in. Does anyone out there know of a good "cheap" one that fits in and will retain EVERYTHING from the factory raido? (XM, onstar, Steering wheel, etc..)

So i found one that is universal for all the 04 1500's which i assume ours isnt different is it? it the entire thing chromed so i assume i can just take and scuff the center bar and paint it black to match and have the other three lower pieces plated since those come out...

If anybody out there is having trouble going through rotors, here is a company my dad deals with in MN here. http://www.frozenrotors.com/ The freeze the rotors and make them super hard. Yes, I thought it was a joke but my dad sold them to a guy with a F-350 who consistently towed 5+ ton loads and went through pads and rotors every 6 months. He has had these frozen rotors on for a year and a half now (replaced pads once) and has never had a problem.

I'll look when I go home next. I dont think it does because i've had the whole front end apart a couple times

I would post a pic but i'm 230 miles away from her. But basically its the dark gray plstic that on the top of the rear bumper that goes up under the tailgate. It curls up on both ends so unless your at eye level about half the LED's on each side get blocked out. If anyone has a black rear bumper cover for sale I could use it if not, is it possible to replace just that gray plastic?

So i have the rampage light bar for under the tailgate and its probably the best ive seen on the market imo. i installed it but the plastic portion on my bumper it too high to see the actual LED's. Not going to lie, it looks badass at night because all you see is the light, but during the day its usless. Has anyone had this problem? Any solutions? Also, the plastic is warped so the middle is lower. Does anyone know if that plastic is sold seperatly or can be replaced?
