  1. It kind of reads like a car jockey/flipper wrote it, and they believed all the smoke the PO was blowing up their ass. He also doesn't seem to get that if your buying the truck from a collectors' standpoint, any mods are going to drive the price down, rather than up. That being said, it looks like a nice enough truck, but I wouldn't go a penny over $245,000.

  2. You'd just need the air bag and steering wheel out of the envoy, should be a bolt on swap. The horn should still plug in/function, but the air bag defiantly won't. I guess i wouldn't trade a working airbag for a GMC emblem, but different strokes for different folks.

  3. Strange to see one with auto temp and steering wheel controls, but cloth and a bench seat. Seems like the SS's I see are either all options or no options. Almost like this one was special ordered that way. Did the cloth int. ISS's have a cloth head rest with the DEI logo, or use the same vinyl ones the leather truck had?

  4. According to my interchange, there are 3 different hubs. 2WD, 4WD/AWD, and the B4V/B4U/B2E(torsion bar 2WD) trucks. The SP450301 is the regular 2wd one. All the spindles are the same, so I'm sure they would go right on there, but they are different(no idea what that difference would be).

  5. Nope, comes off from the outside. Just take the clips and screws off the bottom, and cut the tape on the top. I wasn't real careful with mine as it was all getting repainted. I've heard you can use string/dental floss to saw the tape and avoid paint damage, but I've yet to try it.

  6. The SS trucks have true dual and don't use a Y like a normal Silverado

The Cali emission ones do. It's kind of a cross between a regular silverado one and an ss. I know some salvage yards are selling refurbished/recertified cats, but I don't know what the process involves. Did you fail a sniff test? Or you just getting the"system inefficiency" code?
  7. Looking for some good stock height rear shocks. I'm looking to lower it next summer so I didn't want to spend a ton on new ones only to toss them when I lower it. Figured someone must have a set on the shelf collecting dust. LMK thanks
