On other news I just figured out how to change my display name .

That is the thing. I have no idea when was the last anything on this truck. Only thing I have done was top off everything a few months ago and its regular oil change. Thank you. That makes sense...didn't think about the system flushes and trans filter. I know the factory plugs are a good replacement but whats a good set of wires? lol! If I wasn't so attached to this truck I probably would put it up for sale and get a new vette . You know mine does need a slight adjustment but I think its more of the wide tires the truck sits on that makes her go crazy on certain roads.

Hey fellas, my truck is getting close to 80K miles and I am not sure what the previous owner did as far as maintenance to this truck. What would be a good list of things to check out and or possibly replace. I figured a good place to start would be.. Check and lubricate any joints if possible I should look a my u joints. ( I get a clunk noise when I shift into reverse.) Inspect and or replace any hoses that look worn or damaged. Do oil and filter replacement since it will be due around the same time. Swapping front tires with rear tires and check brakes. anything else I am missing here?

You did the right thing vman. The areas of South Gate, Paramount, Compton and North Long beach are full of trucks. I get sick and tired of seeing SS badges on anything with a bowtie.

Awesome story on how you got the truck! Your Grandpa is a great guy and I appreciate his service and will to still fight! Welcome Eric and you will find mostly any info you need here. There are alot of guys with great knowledge.

I saw this flier going around on FB and IG. Also wish I could of made it. I remember when it used to get good on Sunday nights down by crenshaw in LA. All the lowriders would meet up and a bunch of truck guys would go also. A lot of viejas for sure but eventually the trucks killed the spot with the burnouts. We had a good thing going with all the crazy girls flashing etc

I want to make it. But with work being so hectic i'm staying on the maybe side.

I just realized we named our trucks the same name but mine is in Spanish. Go Raiders!!
