  1. i run flex fuel injectors on my setup. Im at 75% right now. im at the point where another internal mod, and I have to step up my fuel game as well.
  2. iv been trying to find that damn paper for 3 days with no luck but heres a dyno sheet only to 6400-6500. seems to dip a tiny bit and start comming up. i set my shifts at 6600 and 6800 and it feels so much faster. pulls great up top. i still have some part throttle cruising to dial in along with maybe adding another 1-2* of timing to get a tiny more out of it as im only at 27* currently. but it feels much better. i think i might leave them where they currently are and make a pass then adjust and see if I pick up mph or et. if not leave or back it down.
  3. i can see in the tune where commanded shift rpm is, but i dont see the mph part. im assuming it calculates itself off of tire size, trans gearing, and rear gearing? iv got the arp2000's installed so im not scared of letting her sing. but im gonna play with it a little and see if I pick up anything from pass to pass.
  4. picked me up some hpt magic the other day, question i have is that I noticed my current tune has my shiftpoints at 6,000 rpm. here are my cams specs: 227 236 .613 .578 113+3 with a tbss intake, arp rod bolts and head studs, btr spring kit, yank ss3600 and built 60e. should I spin this cam higher than the 6000 rpm limit its set at now? and is there a fuel cut-off I have to adjust as well?
  5. yea they make some great tq #'s

  9. Yup for a 200. I was told I should be able to put a few degrees back in it since I'm using c16. But I wanted to try 1* at a time and read plugs to make sure timing is dead on for it. As well as having a n/a tune
  10. So what I feel is the right action of events is scan durring WOT and go to the histogram that shows knock. In the cells that show zero, go back to editor, add 1*of timing to the corresponding cells in the histogram of the high octane table. Keep increasing 1* in those cells until I see knock then back down 1* or 2* until knock goes away. Then smooth the table. Does this sound about right? I have a pretty decent tune in it now, just retarded for the nitrous. I'm gonna see if the guy who tuned my truck will email me the n/a tune and have you guys look at it and see what you think.
  11. Yea that's what I was leaning towards. Reading that write up on pt.net helped I believe krambo was involved with it. What ever happened to him anyway?
  12. I'd be interested in under hood pieces if you wanted to make those again as well...
  13. i figured you would chime in. ok confused me a little. engine>spark>advance>? lost me at g/sec tables. my truck has a decent stick in it, tbss manifold, diff injectors, yada yada. id really like someone who knows what theyre doing to take a look at where its at and send me in the direction of what should be changed etc. but id like to start with the timing.
  14. a few months ago I had a shop tune my truck. I had them leave out 7* for the nitrous. my question is, I just purchased HPT and am trying to figure out where I need to put full timing back in it. I am gonna take a stab at it and say high octane table and highlight the entire thing and add 7* to the whole table? How would you more informed tuners out there do this? I also want to switch a few more things around but ill start with this first.
  15. Exactly post a log if possible
  16. I have a black one. One small knick. Shoot me an offer it's collecting dust

  18. how hard was it to pull the insulation off the firewall? how hard was it to pull the insulation off the firewall?
  19. How do you know your converter is failing? Skip is I-6 go straight to a real converter. 3200-3400 seems to be the norm with guys around here. A larger cooler should be installed as well. But first 100% identify the converter as the culprit before throwing parts at it.
  20. Pure sex! What did you end up doing with your old hot pipes?

So I'm assuming the higher in the front holes, the more it will shock the tire? I'll try them low hole settings sometime this week. Jason trust me my times are slow right now.

i feel it sink a little. so your saying dont change the pinion angle to -2*? id like to try the bottom hole as well as the top. I also am not running the overload spring. im debating putting it back in and pulling the middle spring instead. but i want to try adjusting the bars first.
