  1. time slip or it didnt happen. it isnt easy to make these pigs roll out
  2. how the hell do you 60 like that?!?!?!?
  3. heres the all motor tune. run 1 was with the all motor tune the 2nd run was with 20* and the 3rd and 4th were with 21* 2006 Silverado SS cam converter all motor (working) 6-10-14.hpt
  4. Yea yea yea. I thought if be much faster too. I have the logs of the runs. Someone please look at them and give me some genuine guidance/ opinions 6-14-14.hpt 1.hpl 2.hpl 3.hpl 4.hpl
  5. flex fuel's im at 75% at heaviest loads. I feel a few things are holding me back, my intake tube gets heat soaked so quick its sad. I still run the factory 20's up front so some 17X7's will help a lot with weight. I also didnt remove my rear seat or tailgate or switch to a roll pan yet. I gained .10 with adding 1* of timing and saw no knock whatsoever. The track was rushing us so we didnt have time to pull plugs and read them. I need to get a few more sets, then I can dial it in. we need to get the suspension working better. it should be pulling 1.7's atleast. I have a lot left on the table. Hell, this is a stock longblock with a cam and tbss intake. I think i need a bigger stall, something like a 4k and super vic should pick me up some time as well.
  6. 12.2 @ 113 with a 1.9 60ft on the 200 but this was with 6000 rpm shift points. N/a she's a dog even with 27* timing, she was 13.9 with a 1.9 60ft. My setup loves the bottle. I wish I could net something a little better n/a tho. I have all the logs if anyone cares to look.
  7. Bro your not running 11's on motor. Fat chance in hell. It's not as simple as these mods will net me this e.t.... I run low 12's on a 200 shot with all my supporting mods. With more testing and tuning I'll be in the 11's but it's not so easy. It takes a ton of work with tuning and adjusting.
  8. Well I was on my way home from my buddies, and saw a mustang. Come a little closer, it had the good ole Shelby on the hide quarter. Ended up catching him a stoplight and gave him the "is that thing fast?" Speech. We went from a 40 roll, three honks and by 100 I had 3 lengths on him. I'd say it was an 05-06 cobra. I only had the 100 jets in her too! Truck surprised me tonight!
  9. well do you want a mail tune or an in person tune? theres a ton of great shops scattered threw out the north east as well as the mail order tuners like zippy, blackbear, weatley....
  10. skip the t-stat, ls engines like to run hot. also, any stall speed you choose, your tuner can set it up so it is more drive-able or driver friendly. get a good honest tune first and then let us know where you stand. I I bet you will be very happy with results from just a tune. Before you go upgrading hard parts, I would suggest: 40k transmission cooler, hd2 shift kit, and vette servo's along with a billet 4th apply. A REAL TUNE, e-fans. after seeing where you are at time wise or power wise whichever is your goal, then I would be looking at talking to someone who specs cams. Everyone on here is gonna say their cam is the best : ie: this guy who has a hard on for his cam all in all, get your bolt-ons and trans squared away before even deciding on a specific cam and stall. Cam and stall should be matched perfectly! If you want a solid runner there are plenty of setups on here that guys run that you can mimic. IMO this isnt the way to go. I believe bolt ons should be installed, trans upgrades, stall and cam should be matched perfectly!
  11. Absolutely tooley all the way! The whole omg it's custom thing is bs. It just isn't a run of the mill off the shelf cam. Have Brian or someone who designs cylinder porting programs spec you a cam. They know their cam/valve events in relation to your driving style better than anyone. Oh and it costs the same amount....
  12. filthy, wet, and dirty (the way I like my women) iv already gotten 3 compliements on it in the day and a half its been on. Thanks again Art!
  13. Brandon you owe us pictures!
  14. yea forget the stock intak and go right to a tbss. port that sucker.
  15. You cal still run the 3 peice covers with a Tbss intake with a little enginuity. I have them on mine. Only took them off to make jet changes a little easier.
  16. factory balancer. tq'd via arp's instruction with their bolt. i like to clean everything really well and use assembly lube on most stuff to make the parts go together easier.
  17. idk on the bottle iv been putting a little less than 600 threw the 65e with no issues yet
  18. I always put an extension threw the balancer and block, break the bolt free. unthread a few turns then use a 3 jaw puller to pull off. when installing use the old bolt with a couple dabs of oil to put the balancer on. take old bolt out. new bolt goes in with a couple drops of oil on it. tighten the holy hell out of her. my tq wrench doesnt go over 150ft lbs so i just get her as tight as I possibly can. never an issue EVER
