  3. is that the old trick window switch?
  4. Iv never heard of this coating... Same thing happened to a buddy, broken valve spring. Pop the covers and take a look. Honestly it can be anything. You have came to the right place. Start will small stuff, any codes? Sure there are zero exhaust leaks? Is it a tapping or clunking sound? How's oil pressure look? Cut the oils filter open and see if there's anything out of the normal there?
  5. What do you have for a fuel system?
  6. What's the name of the shop? Fb link? I'm interested in 06-07 hood as mine that just got painted 3 months ago already has 3 large walnut dents on it, plus I'd like to save some weight
  7. everyone who has one, are they all cooperating with the x link and what version x link are you using?
  8. He said eff that roll bar one pass and done and on to the next track ;)
  9. congrats man that thing is moving! time to throw a trans brake in her and 2 step and see what she has congrats man that thing is moving! time to throw a trans brake in her and 2 step and see what she has
  10. He doesn't have original bag of crappy fittings that comes with it. I'm pretty sure I have an old bag laying around somewhere that might be missing 1 or 2 things out of it. I'll have to look. The stuff that comes with it is crap anyway. I can show you how I have mine mounted. It's very simple. I'll be switching to an 80 soon along with braided -an lines
  11. It's not mine it's a buddies. He used an lines. I'd have to see what all he has for it
  12. Tru cool 40k. It's used but has maby a week of driving on it. $100 shipped
  13. work of art. incredible attention to detail
  14. ok this was so stupid. i pulled that fuse, checked it with a test light multiple times (which it had power both sides), then wiggled it and it started working.
  15. he probably re used the crank and rods and just put new pistons in her.
  16. iv towed 5000 lbs with a 3600. just make sure she doesnt lock up.
  17. Yea idk it's weird as hell. I hate tracing wires. I have to see if I have power at the switch and comming out.
  18. my truck sat for a few months, now the windshield wipers dont work. I have checked any and all fuses that could be related to this. I only see a relay for the W/S washer, and that checked out fine. My blinkers still work. Washer tank doesnt come on or spray fluid and wipers dont work. Any ideas other than the motors? Seems like a circuit board went out somewhere or a fuse or relay. I just cant find it. any schematics or wiring diagrams would be super helpful!
  19. i might do it. but he is in compton... dunno if ill actually receive the part or not
  20. if you use the lnc2000, then no need as it is built in. but for us that have tuning software, we just pull timining with it and run which ever window switch tickles your fancy. I liked the NOS mini II
  21. He isn't boosted tho.... A simple 1 gallon tank, Holley blue, and decent fpr will be all you need to go standalone other than wiring.
  22. lots of questions. iv put 200 threw my motor with no issues. I used a nos mini 2 progressive controller. Being your awd, i see no need in a progressive as you should not spin out the hole like i did. For timing, you have 3 options, lingenfelter makes a unit that will act as a timing retard, window switch, and progressive controller, all in one. Or you have the IAT resistor trick, or pull timing using tuning software, which IMO is the safest. I personally dont care for the SAFE system, as it is a high pressure system and there is simply no need for a standalone high pressure system. Trey hooked me up with a 1 gallon tank, holley blue pump, and regulator way cheaper than the safe system. Plus the pros: cheaper replacement parts, easier to tune in (adjusting fuel pressure), much simpler all around. With wanting to spray that much, a plate system would be your best bet for atomizing correctly. If you can find a TRICK window switch, theyre money but are no longer made. Stick with a simple window switch, a br7ef plug or br6ef if spraying a 150. Some C16 in a standalone with either plug will keep you way in the safe zone after pulling timing. The more simple the kit is, the more efficient it will be for you. Start with a simple kit and progress into something larger, start small and work your way up. Nitrous has a bad rep, but if used correctly is an amazing power adder. Any specific questions go ahead and ask. Nitrous express has great products as well as nitrous outlet.
