  1. So that's a pretty big no no? I know you recommend the djm kit but I have always been a big fan of belltech and would like to stick with them, unfortunately that's the only way you can get 4 out of the front from them.
  2. love the comparison shot, everyone should do this that has different types of drops like 2/2, 3/4, and 4/6

    DJM 3/4 drop

love the comparison shot! I have been trying to eye ball this drop for weeks now lol
  4. yeah from the kit you would get a "y-pipe" that goes prior to the muffler so that you can run the single in/single out, so you will just need to make sure you do that
  5. in general though, would it hinder the performance if I used a "y-pipe" prior to the muffler so that i could use a single in/dual out muffler though?
  6. id say thats a fair price, if its in good condition! I paid 18k for mine at 61k miles
  7. What style do you guys go with? For the life of me I can not find a Di/do aerochamber! All I see is single in dual out, is that what you guys a running? Would it be a bad idea to run a si/do muffler? If anyone has a part number that would be great! I have viewed a lot of clips and this is the set up is like to go!
  8. from this thread?? http://www.silverado...357#entry850357 I dont even see any questions in your post?
  9. just got mine a week ago for 18k has 62k miles...original sticker was 42k...
  10. Man those 22's make the brakes look tiny lol
  11. yeah I was pretty shocked myself lol. I mean it had a lot of little dents through out the entire vehicle (many you cant see with out it being under the right lighting/overcast days). The issue was that these cars resell value has dropped tremendously in the last couple of years as where the price on parts have not...the damage was estimated around 9k so instead of repairing it they just paid it off. Like stated before I will be sad to see it go, I had a lot of money dropped into this car, but I couldn't justify buying it back then spending another 9k to get it back to where it was, so I just let it go.
  12. Thanks again for the welcome guys, this site is truly great, coming from the audi forums you guys seem way more laid back, and from what I have seen this far pretty encouraging of one another. I can tell I'm going to really like the site, I have already found tons of info and have already been able to fix my steering clunk!!
  13. When I was 16 I wanted a 90's model NSX....yeah I was a Honda boy lol.....to this day I still would like one
  14. Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Forgot to mention I located in Wichita!
  15. Hey all, I just recently made the move from an 04 Audi A4 1.8t quattro into a 05 SS....I must admit....I like where im sittin now a whole hell of a lot better! lol. I am excited to finally have an SS I have wanted one for years and due to an unfortunate hail storm (or maybe it was fortunate) my Audi ended up getting totaled out. Right as I found out I immediately hit craigslist and came across this gem. Like stated before its a 2005 SS AWD completely unmolested right at 62k miles. I took delivery of it Friday night and started putting my own personal touches on it Saturday lol I ended up Plasti-dipping the grille and bowtie black then proceeded to wash, claybar, and finally waxed it. And Now for some PICS!!! old vs new Anyways I will be sad to see the Audi go but I am extremely happy with its replacement,I am hoping to learn a lot from this site and getting to know everyone!
