  1. tell ya what guys...... I know you dont know me that well, but im a "mad man" when it comes to lights i came up with the first (plug and play) hid reverse lights!! now thats a lil out there. I will keep you all posted KB-
  2. yes, but I want light... more! like I said.... it's all up in the air. If I put a light in there with no grill and it looks homo, I throw a grill in there for sure. so we'll see KB-
  3. ya I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the bottom. I'm gonna mount up the lights first, then go from there. sooo, we'll see KB-
  4. I shoulda started this a while ago.... but, I have this problem where I can NEVER say... "oh, my truck is done" so, here's what I got planed coming up when the weather gets a little better, oh ya.. and for those that don't know or missed it, I'm paralyzed and in a wheelchair. I'm completely paralyzed from my CHEST down! not waist.. I got NO abs. I'm just a pair of arms. anywayz! sometimes late at night, around 3am or so... I like to go up in the back roads where its wide open straight a-ways and tight turns. PLUS... no one is on the roads.. and no cops back there. the part I hate is, in these back roads its SUPER DARK!!! no street lights at all! and my truck is fast. I can "out drive" my lights no problem! I have hi and low 55w HIDs, with the 4 beam hi mod, but at high speeds and tight turns. they suck me being the light king for years its killing me.... I GOTTA HAVE MORE LIGHT! but at the same time, I want my street truck to look clean! in hi beam the truck puts out a nice spread of light, but I want more distance!! the only way I see it is adding "SPOT BEAM" lights. LED bars are cool, they look clean. but even the "spot beam" bars are just flood of light. here's the idea I got so far. here's my truck right now- here is the grille I plan on buying- ok for lights, this is my plan.. in the center between the frame horns I want to add 8" wide Eagle Eye, oval "cat eye" lights.... SPOT BEAM of course. Then when I build them I will be fitting them with 75w, full ceramic HID bulbs. The bulb base is completely made of ceramic to handle the extra heat of 75w. I dont know what I'm going to do with the bottom center grill yet, IDK if I'm going to custom cut one up to look good, or just run nothing. I'll work it in as I go along. now for the side vent lights. I've a few of you guys add fog lights to these. BUT remember, I'm happy with my lights now for the spread in front of me. I'm not a 100% sure on what housing I'm going to use for these. but I'm thinking about running a pair of 4" round 55w HID's MORE to come as I get into it. KB-
  5. ohhh by the way, to ANYONE who owns a Silverado SS, and can prove it.... I will sell you any HID kit at cost! free shipping too! lets put it this way, my kits are cheaper than DDM LIFETIME WARRANTY too KB-
  6. Muggs I'm just trying to hurt my transfer case so I can ask you to help me! hahaha, sorry bro I had to crack a joke.... hey I can say this, That new transfer case looks badass! too bad you'll be the only one that will ever see it. well... you and who ever helps you put it in, I'd help ya out but I'm crippled and talk too much anyway. KB-
  7. Ever since I got my truck, I noticed that if I put it into first it will shift to 2nd by itself. I've never had any truck that would do this. sometimes it will shift to 2nd sometimes it wont. why is this? also can it be removed with tuning? KB-
  8. thanx JC and Muggs not bad for a iphone pic threw a window. the TBSS 22 reps where worth every penny! i still look at them and say..... "damn, sexy as sh*t" KB-
  9. yes, I park with my rear wheels in the gutter to put the center of my truck closer to the ground. It really helps me get in and out. my shoulders are really starting to kill me from lifting up my crippled a$$ in and out so much. sucks cuz each day Im crunching more and more pills!! --- but that's mostly cuz I have chronic nerve pain in my chest, and nerves DON'T heal! ... luck me I can't wait to get my drop spindles and hangers on... only this time is for MORE than just looks thanx JDD, your wheels look good too bro! I wish I had your front end tho!! and your painted corners look the tits!! KB-
  10. I love the birch with all the black!! looks good bro. that chrome intake tube sure would sound good with a remote mount turbo hooked to it, and maybe a Tial BOV I wonder who could do that?? hahaha KB-
  11. I have the beltech silver shocks..... dont know what model. I already have shock extend ers. I might have to do a notch.. not sure yet. I already had to take the bump stops out... they were touching
  12. I wasnt planing on doing it for ride height..... i was wondering about ride quality. I have 2" drop shackles now.... bout to put 2" drop hangers next. I already have everything.. just waiting for nice weather to do it in
  13. Just wondering if anyone out there runs their truck without one. ya, I know you would need helper bags for towing and whatnot.... anyone out there? if you did take it out.... how's the ride now? KB-
  14. Plus.... DDM honestly sucks in customer service! just cuz they have a LIFETIME WARRANT doesn't mean much. lets say you have a bulb or ballast go out- 1. it takes forever to get them on the phone to ask them what to do 2. you have to take that part out, call and get a RMA#, then ship it off SAME goes for Ebay and overseas kits well, you guys can try Slim Ballast kits. But in a span of 3 years, I tried to sell Thin Ballast because they were more popular and I lost my a$$ on money replacing everyone's ballast left and right.... over and over!! all HID's fail at one point, but over the years I learned what the chances are with, witch type KB-
  15. I don't care if these kits were $15 It's NOT worth the headache of switching ballast when they go out I'm just being a ((100%)) honest with everyone..... THIN Digital ballast have a high fail rate FAT Analog ballast have a low fail rate I've being selling HID kits for over 6 years now AC= Fat Analog ballast kits DC= Thin Digital ballast kits
