I think our trucks look much better than the ugly over square wheel wells of the new ones. I do like the flat black striped special edition though. LS engine AWD.....only thing we don't have stock is GPS & that's easily installed.......

still waiting for the new tune. replaced O2 sensor and temp sensor. Going for re-inspection after I get about 100 miles to get the computer reset.

A guy in a Pontiac Forum I frequent has the track rented out for Friday April 28. $200 per vehicle. It is Street night also that starts at 7pm.

CEL came on.........have Zippy sending me a new computer. I should have it sometime next week. Truck has a slight stumble off idle and at part throttle cruise when you hit the gas. Exhaust has a little gurgle to it also, figure running a little on the lean side IDK for sure. Will report back when the new tune is in.

I have a shift kit to install also.........gonna do that and the tune next..........have to take baby steps with the dough!!

I had a bassani cat back on it already, headers gave a little more throaty/deeper sound. I think a tune will be a big step in performance. It has a little stumble/hesitation off idle, and when its at light throttle cruise and you mash on the gas.

he's been working on this last couple years 1984 15th Anniversary T/A 468 Cube Pontiac built by the kids. Ported heads 244 @ 50 .500 lift cam. It should be about 450-475 horse. They just finished putting on the front clip Monday. It's been off the road 20 years.

Arrived Saturday.........dropped off the truck to my buddies HS Vo-Tech class on Monday, he finished them up yesterday. There was one bolt missing and turned out to be broken. Rear most bolt on Dr side. No way to drill in that spot. Would have to remove head. Said it looked like it was missing for some time. So was left as is...........not leaking so maybe dodged a bullet. He's dropping it off tonight at my house. They actually shipped 2 sets of headers but caught their mistake and called me. They emailed a return shipping ticket! So there is a set available at Texas Speed.........

Still no header delivery..ordered on 2-20 still waiting. Talked to TX Speed on last week & ARH was still in process of building them. TX Speed said I was looking at delivery around 3-20.........I hope they are worth the wait.

$1599 with Cats.......... Seems my headers were never shipped. I called Thursday & Yesterday to find out where they are, and Texas Speed said ARH didn't process my order! Don't know who's dropped the ball, but I have to drive around another 2 weeks with an open exhaust.

My Temp is a hair under 200, volts a hair over 14, both pointers are almost straight up which is how the factory has it set up. Easy to read at a glance! My Trans is usually around 125.............hope this helps!!

my old man put 380,000 miles on his 1966 Pontiac. Heads never off the block not even a cam change. Ex Airforce mechanic. He was original owner. Kept records of everything gas mileage & gallons used. Tire rotation dates and miles on snow tires, brake shoe, hoses, plug & points replacements........He had more $ in oil & filters than purchase price of the car. Wreck took it off the road 10 years ago or he'd still be driving it. It's all about the maintenance, he changed oil & filter every 2500 miles.

My brother just bought a S&W 40 cal hand gun at the gun show in Oak, PA we are NJ residents. Had to be sent to FFL in NJ for him to pick it up.

What a night.......dr side cat started rattling last week. I've kept driving to a minimum but had an appt to get my hair cut last night. On the way truck was being less & less responsive. Got to the point it would barely take off from a light. I passed a shop around 5:45 with a few guys out front, did a u-turn and asked if they could cut out the pipe. I would have to wait for a couple cars to get done. I asked if I could do it and they let me use a sawzall, light and glasses. All dressed up and under the truck on cardboard and one of the mats. 20 minutes later I had cut out a pie section of pipe ahead of the bad cat & bent it out of the way. Guys wouldn't take any cash! They saved my ass from being stranded on the side of the road!! Going back with Pizza Saturday.

Only mods I have is a CAI and Bassani cat back which bolted right up to the stock mid pipes...........Guess I will get a Wheatly or Zippy mail order tune when headers are done! Texas Speed has them for $1349 right now so gonna order them up on Monday. Thanks again Guys!!!

Are the ARH headers a direct bolt on? If no what mods are needed for 04 all wheel drive. Thanks
