    Thanks. These arent the first toys I sold since my accident, I sold my 02 GSXR 1000, 01 Procharged Z06, 1991 SBC camaro Z28 and two motors. The way I look at is now is they are just material things that can be bought and or built again. I was mad in the beginning for having to sell everything I had, Now Im more happy that Im still here and can have a conversation. cars can come and go, my wifes worries regarding me are what I see. Selling the toys will allow for me to make sure she will be taken care of and wont have the financial burden to think of. Shes my top priority.

    Yep! To each their own, but its a beautiful low production truck as is... Painting it and swapping the motor is a disgrace like lifting an SS truck!! Go find a 88-98 single cab chevy and do whatever you want! LOL! I'll come buy that damn 454 if it means saving it from the chop shop! Just sayin. Leave it be. Its beautiful as it sits.

    Some things that can cause this are a dirty MAF sensor, Dirty Throttle Body. I would clean those up first. Its worked for me anytime someone I know has this issue. Or worst case it could also be a cam or crank sensor issue. But the truck might have a hard time starting on occasion if it were those sensors. Start off with the easy stuff first. Go to your local parts store and have them read the codes for you.

    I'd love to see how a new stock PCM would work in my truck and its mods right now lol... The cam, supercharger, heads, injectors lol Might run a bit rough for them and not to mention the idle surge killing the truck everytime they brake or go in reverse, drive, or park lol

     

    So with that said the best anti theft device is to mod your truck so much that a stock PCM tune won't be able to run it LOL

    Yeah I agree, if a thief tried starting my truck I think everyone would hear it! It sounds like a jet taking off!!!!! Maybe I shouldn't try to quiet it down? Not to mention, I don't think it would run very well on a stock tune:-) Maybe I could talk my wife into a F1 Procharger with that as my excuse!!!!
