  1. I think that a 408 with 15 pounds of boost will make more power than a 370 with the same 15 pounds of boost...There is no way I will stay with 370 ci when it come to motor replacement. Forced induction can makeup for smaller cubic inch motors however, 15 psi on a 2.2liter motor does not have the same potential and 15psi on 7.0 liters...

  2. I am wanting to see some numbers from this thing. Track or Dyno. Hurry up already. Your almost taking as much time as me!! ;)

I don't have a dyno around my area that will work for my truck. I would love to dyno it!! My build has taken me longer than normal because it is my daily driver and I can have it down for more than 8 hours at a time..And it seems like everything is over a grand each time I work on it! Plus I keep changing my build!!!!! I'm getting close though..

  3. Sweet build man, you've made quick progress with everything that has been done. Did I miss what the trans upgrade(s) was?

Thanks, The transmission was upgraded by the previous owner. It has a RPM lvl 6 trans with a 2800 stall.

  4. The injector dynamics are worth every penny!I've talked to several tuners and the all said that ID are the best... Not only because they have the mapping dialed but also for the consisantsy. It was hard for me to spend the cash... But look at how much you have invested already, do you want a injector issue at this point???? Any injector can open and flow at wide open throttle, but few have the idle to mid throttle drivability that the ID's do.....

  5. I decided to get the HOB dedicated drive system for my D1. I spent the last week removing my Innovators West 8 rib pulley setup and my Procharger bracket. Its amazing how much the supercharger really helps these trucks even when you are not in boost!!!!I installed the HOB kit but I'm waiting on Procharger shims that should be arriving any day. I also just received my Injector Dynamics ID1000's! I'm hoping I will have this thing wrapped up soon and see what kind of boost my 3.5 pulley will produce!!! I'm guessing over 14!!!!We'll see..... My next project is my 2wd shortbed stepside 1958 Chevy truck. I've owed that truck since I was 15. I'm installing a corvette front suspension with a 4 link in the rear. Not sure if I'm going twin turbo or a BIG Procharger. I'm shooting for a 3000lbs truck with 1000hp! Should be a fun daily driver!!!!

  6. Sure would be sweet to break all 4 tires loose. Drifting this big truck around corners would be a blast.

You will be able to do it with ease!!!! I can do it with my D1 and only 7 lbs of boost! Its so much fun! And its easy to control with it being AWD....

  7. It all worked fine before?

Highly doubt "it's wired wrong". The remote start sounds like it lost your tachometer memory signal when you disconnected the battery

As for the radio, I'd plug the fuse back in, and start the truck with all doors closed. Let run for like a minute. Then shut the truck off and open the door. See it the module that controls this, resets itself.

Keep us informed. (Frustrated by assumptions of uneducated people)

I have diagnosed similar concerns with the trans range switch being the fault.... .I'm not saying I'm right, I was just trying to help.... I won't do that again!
