  1. Hey everybody. I have a quick question on the best wideband that can be ran on its own. Or hooked up to HP tuners. I'd like to be able to have the gauge for when I drive it. But I also wanna be able to hook it up to hptuners when tuning. Last car I tuned had a built in wideband from factory so ive never had to buy one before. Thanks in advance for any info you guys have.

  2. Idk tbh. I just had to spend 1600 on my dognto finish her service dog training. So that set me back a little bit with money. That was going to finish my motor. And buy a 4l80e to swap. But plans changed now. So I gotta finish the motor. And hope the 4l603 holds up to the new power till I can afford another trans. Or build the 60e in this. I'm hoping to have it running by march 27th. At the latest. As I have a dyno day set up for that day lol

  3. Just picked up an AEM 320LPH e85 pump. I've never installed a fuel pump before. And curious. If this is a direct replacement. As in no cutting to the box it sits in inside the tank?

Also curious if our stock fuel lines will support 600whp on e? Looking to run 400whp on the motor. With a 150-200 shot of nitrous. Running E because the motor will be a 11.7:1 compression thanks in advance for any help. Fueling is my biggest issue right now a I have no idea how it really works. Thanks.

  4. Id look into a set of 243 heads ported. Cheaper option. Or a set of AFR heads. (For a street car. Probably the 205. As for a cam. Again for a street Car I wouldn't go much higher than mid 230's on duration. 6xx lift. The stall depends on the cam. But anywhere from a 3000-3500 for street use if its a good stall company.

I'm looking to make 400whp. Going with a heads. 223/227 114 comp cam. (I have to stay small because of smog in California. Other wise I'd be running a 230/235 625/625 110. 3200 stall. With a good set of heads. Full bolt ons. I'd say you could hit 450+ good luck hope that helps.

  5. Dropped the motor off at the machine shop. Getting the crank polished. A 24x reluctor wheel put on. Pistons cleaned. All new bearings. Honed. Galley plugs. Rear main seal and cover. ARP 2000 rod bolts. Was a little more than I was expecting. Mainly because I'm having him do more than I thought was needed. Ordered the new rings for the pistons. Just need to order the cam. Springs. Pushrods. And a couple more gaskets.

  6. Will do I'm hoping to at least have the motor done and in the truck with stock stall and 60e. By march to get it on the dyno. (Signed up for a cheap dyno day march 26th) I probably won't spray but we will see if I wanna try out a stock 4l60e behind close to 600whp lol

  7. I'll be taking my block in Thursday (later today) to have it honed. Get the bearings installed. And all that. The rings should be coming in the next few days. Then I still have to order the cam. Springs. Pushrods. Etc. And I need to finish porting my heads. I have one pretty much done. Need to start the next head. Been busy. As I knew the engine in my cobalt ss. So I'm truing to get that thing back together so I'll have a daily driver for when I take the truck apart to start working on that.

  9. I'm in southern Cali, I have a 2001 Silverado. In black. It's got 150k on it and the paint could use some minor help. Bed is beat up, the people who owned it before me had the bed re-painted. And put the clear coat over the z71 sticker in the back. When I lowered the truck. I took those off. Well, now there's clear coat missing and it looks tacky. Anyone know any decent shops. That aren't crazy pricey? Looking to just stay same color. Black, and get the whole truck done. If the price is right. Looking to spend no more than like 1200. In a 2 stage base coat clear coat. But I want it done right. Sanded down, badges removed. Etc. I don't trust macco, or earl shieb. I've heard some good paint stories, but mostly crappy ones. And I don't wanna get a crappy paint job. The truck won't be going off road anymore. So she deserves a nice paint job. It may just need a wet sand to get the few minor scratches to go away, along with the sticker miss hap. But anyways thanks in advance. Btw. When I google paint shops near me, (on an iPhone so it uses GPS) I only get macco, and earl shieb to pop up. Thanks.

  10. So we were thinking of a Friday? So do we wanna do this in April, or may, if its in April. We can go for April 12th,19th, 26th. That way gives everyone a few weeks to get ready? Or may. Do we need a month? Or a couple weeks? I'm ready whenever. Only way ill flake is if I get scheduled to do a test for the riverside sheriff's. besides that I'm good to go.
