Did you decide what throttle body you are going to use?

Little Update Since the last pic my turn signal faded and had moisture bad so I bought a tinted set of turn signals and added some silicone around the edges. Now I figured it was time to add a little more power so I have been acquiring parts. Parts I already have just need to finish aquiring my wish list. OBX long tube headers TBSS/NNBS Intake manifold 160 Thermostat I have emailed Black Bear Performance about a tune and HP Tuners I am trying to find a set of Tahoe electric fans with harness and trying to decide on what throttle body to get for the new intake. I am hoping these things should wake it up pretty decent from the reading I have done. Anyone have any suggestions for what the best throttle body is I am looking for 87/90mm. I will be ordering a X-Link next day or so.

I have been searching for a deal on a NNBS intake, you mind me asking where you found it? As for Casper Electronics they have pretty good products. I have used some of their stuff on my GN and Typhoon. They use to be real big into the O2 simulators until they were outlawed.

And on anther note my truck did have the key fobs but the buttons looked dingy and worn. I found just a new button pad on ebay for dirt cheap.

Is it possible to have the HPT software on 2 laptops so you can tune the same vehicle with either laptop? I have my work laptop that goes everywhere I do but I also have a personal laptop I use for tuning and autocad. I would like to use my laptop for tuning but I only take my company laptop with me during the week when I travel and would like to be able to play with the tunes and play back logs.

I bought the same set for my truck, just havent had time to install them yet. I did notice some of the inside edges could be cleaned up a little from burs and slag. I am planning on doing a tune and a few other things at the same time I install them. Are you doing any other bolt ons when you install these?

I have a nav unit in mine from a 05 tahoe. I added GM GPS antenna everything was plug and play. A buddy at GM place did vin relearn. Best option for a radio to me.

I just bought an OBX set off eBay hoping to get them and a few other goodies put on in the next few weeks. I went with these as I have used their headers before without any issues and these are direct bolt in for factory exhaust.

Where did ou get that NX kit from and how much was it?

Looking for a catback system for my truck. Just ordered headers figured it would he a good time to upgrade te exhaust system too. Looking for a good deep sound with minimum drone.

Thanks guys. What I really like about this is the kit is the lid was free, I just had to draw it up in CAD and then cut and bend it. The rest of the kit cost $65 shipped to the door.

Well I finally had the time last week to install the airbox lid I made for my ebay kit. Turned out pretty good I think, still can't make up my mind to paint it black or leave it stainless. The SS logo is cut out so I might come back and add a piece of red plexiglass to the under side to make the letters red. Let me know what you guys think.

Now I just need to decide to paint or polish. Its 0.060" Stainless.

Guess that why I haven't had an issue on my grey or chrome wheels.

I have fixed this on other style caps but thankfully my SS hasn't had an issue yet. You can use a eat gun or soildering iron and heat the tabs up just enough to bend them out a little. Don't bend them too much as it will make them a pain to put on. Hope this helps

Because of my job I am only home on the weekends and occasionally during the week. You must be going to the DSM where a buddy of mine works or Vidant. My wife actually works at vidant in the pharmacey. I have to go to Savannah Ga this week and will probably be there most of the week. So where are you from?
