My total as of now are; Nav unit. 250 Antenna. 70 Pac1 amp and iPod 30 Speakers. 125 Total. 475 Now I just need an amp anyone have any suggestions?

Subs are 12" kicker comp vr and as for an amp I don't have one yet, a buddy let me borrow his Sony and Jensen both 600 watts to see how it would sound. Still debating on amps. I took some pics of the nav unit but they are blurry. I will get some today.

We did the vin relearn tonight and I like it a lot more than the factory radio. Got the GPS antenna o amazon for $70 and free shipping so I put it in the factory spot too. Now I jut need to wire the amp and subs.

Well the nav radio came today and yes plug and play. Now just have to relearn vin and finish the amp install. But I got an email from my office and I have to fly to alabama in the morning and will be there until Friday so maybe I can finish everything this weekend.

I pulled the factory radio out last night to run a vss wire like all the how to's I've read and to my surprise the wire was there from the factory. I am hoping the nav unit gets here today so I can get t installed tonight and get my buddy to do the vin relearn. I will post some pics later when I get everything in. The same guy that is going to do the vin relearn for me had a 800w Sony amp and a 600w Jensen amp that I could borrow until I figure out what I want to install permanently. Now I just have to hook up my PAC adapter and run the RCA's and power wire.

I already talked to a buddy at the local Chevy place and as soon as it gets here I am going to hook it up and he's going to do the vin relearn at my shop with the tech 2. Gotta love wireless Internet.

Really the nav unit I got is part number 10377287 and according to my research on the web this is a Bose non-lux nav unit. From what I read if I used this one it was pretty much plug and play other than adding a vss wire since mine is an 03 and GPS antenna. Does that mean my research and thinking is wrong?

Can anyone help me with picking out an amp? It has been awhile since I did the audio thing and I know things have changed alot.

From my understanding just need to add the antenna and I have to check the wiring diagrams but vss also maybe

Been debating on what to put in my SS since I bought it. Well in the past 2 weeks I found a PAC-1 iPod adapter and amp adapter for factory radio $30, a box with 2 3 week old 12" kicker comp vr to go under the back seat $125, and this weekend I found a factory nav unit for $250. Now I just need to find an amp for the subs.

Well I have been playing with it the past few weeks. I have removed the speed limiter, turned the abuse mode off, adjusted shift pionts and programmed it to do a wot 3-4 shift. It will allow me to make more changes than it would on my LT1 Camaro SS. I have some other ideas I hope I can get to work.

I would not of had traction issues haha. I measured and came up with 47.250" of drag radial on the ground. This thing should hook on ice covered in transmission fluid.

Well I got up Saturday morning checked to make sure the track was going to open and their answering machine said they were. I then spent all morning cleaning the SSS, Typhoon and my wife's Suburban. Filled up the Typhoon with 10 gallons of 112 after I drove 40 mins to get it Friday. Loaded the Typhoon on the trailer to find the one of the trailer lights had quit, so I fixed that then drove 2hrs to the track to find out they had decided not to open because of the temps were to cold outside. But I will say the truck did great pulling the trailer and it was a nice ride with my son.

Just curious if anyone is or has used Jet DST to program their truck? I bought one used but had never been used from a forum a few years ago and since I had it I used a licsense I hooked it up to my SS. I have so far just raised the speed limiter and removed some of the TM.

I did this diode for the 4 hi and love it. Probably going to do the other diode too since the pack had 2 of them in it.

Yea Northeatern Dragway it's right off highway 17 just outside Hertford NC. Thy are opening at 11 and running from 1-5. I am planning on getting there around 12:30 or so.

A buddy with a white Typhoon is taking his I'll have my black Typhoon and another guy might take his yellow Syclone. We are just going to hang out and make some passes. I have never made a pass with my Typhoon and I am ready to see what it will do. Come in and hang out. My wife did tell me last nite that she is not riding with me because she knows her and my son won't want to stay as long as I will. Haha imagine that.
