The shop that dyno tuned GI's truck
-
When I talked with them on the phone and told him I just needed a tune done he told me the price. I asked when he could do it and he wouldn't give me a straight answer other than not any of the days I asked about. Said it was best to call and schedule it. Umm thats what I was trying to do thats why I called.
-
Hate to hear that they treated you that way. I have been watching your progress and was curious how they would do. I talked to them about getting a tune after I did my intake swap, but they acted like they really didnt care since all I wanted was just a tune.
-
I did the swap on my truck then ran a 1/4 pass with stock tune then with a Black Bear Tune. Difference between the tunes is about half a second.
-
I did the nnbs/tbss intake with 87mm throttle body and long tube obx headers and on a iPhone app I gained .45-.5 seconds in the 1/4 just from his tune.
-
What would you want for your wheel GI?
-
Why!?! Just WHY should you do this....?

Some people have too much money. -
I have obx and haven't had any issue with them.
-
Look like OBX headers

Silverado SS Shopman1 Bowtie's have a few for sale
teamvortec replied to shopman1's topic in For Sale/ Wanted
So how much is a red one? -
I also just installed a set of obx headers with their high flow cats, but I have factory exhaust. It sounds a little different now and also has the popping sound when I let off the throttle at higher rpms.

Where can i buy injector adapters for a TBSS intake?
teamvortec replied to NipRing's topic in Bolt On Performance
I got mine from Casper electronics like $42 shipped -
I had to trim my mounting tabs a little and for the crossover I installed the tube onto one side and cut it right after the bend on the passenger side. I had the crossover tube from the new intake so I cut a section from it and had a buddy that welds for a living weld it in. So far no leaks or issues.

I just installed a nnbs manifold and injectors. I bought a set of adapters from Casper Electronics, they were around $42 shipped.

Air bag gauge and switch location help needed

Do you remember where they were installed? -
Just curious as to where everyone is putting the gauge and switch for their air bags? I am installing mine this week and can't decide on where to put the gauge.

Another Nice weekend so I cleaned her up
teamvortec replied to teamvortec's topic in Video & Photography
Chrome is the only way to go. Actually I just got 1-2" shackles for the rear and never touched the front. I pull my 24' enclosed car trailer some times and its on the bump stops so I found a steal on a airlift kit complete with bags, mounts, compressor, gauge, sensor, lines everything for $120 shipped so I am going to install that I hope this weekend. Hoping no more squat with 5k lb bags. -

I am doing a nnbs intake and using the injectors that came with it and went to Casper electronics for adapters.
