  1. I have to disagree with Marzyn. It's not about mortality rate. It's about stopping a man in his tracks and putting him on his ass with one shot, and with that you need a 45 or a 12 ga with 00 buckshot in the house. The ballistics are perfect for sheer manstopping force, without over penetration, something you don't want indoors. Why have to put three 9mm rounds into a stranger in the dark, when you can neutralize the bastard completely with one 45 hp? You can shoot a man with an m4, ar15 and he won't even miss a step, but that bullet will probably overpenetrate and then you're in trouble. In other words, these high speed rounds exit the body and make people bleed to death, but they don't stop a man instantly like a sledgehammer 45 to the chest. Any gun is worthless though if you can't fire it safely, accurately, and comfortably. So if all you can handle is a 22 on the nightstand, then that is the best choice for you. 2. By the way, thanks everyone for the welcome. It's a great site. I have lots of little questions for the future that I'll probably find answers to here.
  3. I just removed the cover. I'll post pics when it stops raining. How would you get it from Fla? And yea, I have to agree with Johnny about black.
  4. Hey everybody, I've been researching the site pretty hard for a few weeks so I thought I should introduce myself. I live in the Cleveland, Ohio area. I've almost always been exclusively a GM guy but never had a performance type vehicle till now. Have had Yukons, S-10s, Envoy, Silverado, but this is my first "cool" vehicle I guess. And these things are definitely cool. You guys have a lot of really nice trucks. I picked up a black 2004 SS AWD with a K&N Intake and Corsa Sport exhaust last week. I'm also going to be selling the black fiberglass Gaylord's tonneau cover, and I'm going to need to buy the chrome center caps for the stock 20s if anybody knows any leads. The truck will be my year round, well taken care of daily driver. Great to be here, and thanks for all the tips I've already gotten from the site. I'll try to attach a couple pics the dealer took.
