  1. I have a good launch I even sometimes break the tires lose with just 3600 stall and cam intake and my cam I guess is a decent size cam

Youre probably gonna wish you went with a 3600 stall but for a 3000 stall I'd say like a duration @ .5 228 228 lift 588 588 lope 112 cam I could be wrong but thats around a decent cam stall match but I say go with a 3600 stall from edge its a badass stall and you can really use the awd! I daily drive with a 3600 stall and a 235 243 cam

  4. But you should decide before you go buying anything what Youre aiming for whether it be nitrous, all motor, or boost. If its a budget all motor/nitrous build the tbss is the way to go.
  5. Also I really recommend a 3600 stall from edge they make great torque converters! And you won't be happy with anything under 3600 believe me I'm telling you plenty of people went with a 3000 or 2800 or 3200 and wish they had more including myself you got to take advantage of the awd or your just wasting time then again maybe youd like a mild launch up to you
  6. Dang man sounds like you need some advice on what mods to do. Tbss intake probably gonna be around $125 plus youre gonna want injectors with it maybe say around 40lb or 42lbs probably gonna be around $350 depending brand new or not and what brand. Also Youre gonna need a x link I got mine from torque rush performance for $225 basically the only site I know of that carries em. Also Youre gonna need a 87mm throttle body or a ls3 90mm throttle body I have a used 90mm ls3 tb it works fine I will sell it for $110. You might need some fuel rails too I made my stock ones work also gonna need a fuel regulator $70 but only need the fuel regulator only if you don't use your stock fuel rails.

  8. Just save some time and hassle by going with pacesetter Long tube headers ceramic coated for around 400 total I've had mine for a while and they still look just about new

  10. I guess I will call and see how much for the stage 1 and 2.5 then without the springs and such. Also transmission might be coming out soon because it slipping a bit the other day it stayed in 2 gear until like 4000rpms and then shifted really hard oh well its alright we will probably build it this time for 500hp and 450tq but depending on what's left I will go with the stage 1 or 2.5
  11. Cam specs are 235 243 621 624 113. and how did you like the 243 head swap worth the work? And $1000?
  12. I have a LSr cam with tbss intake and ls3 throttle body 46lb injectors with 3600 stall and LT headers and cai. I also considering a lsxrt if I can't find any 243s and just wait for a good deal on some 243s. Goal: Beast all motor daily driver.
  13. Yes thats what I'm thinking but don't know much about porting specs or anything like that still learning and I had a chance at a pair of ported 317s for 750 but declined it because its not going to raise my compression to 11.4-5:1

  15. There's pictures of the flames burning pretty bad not a little baby one. I hear they were more likely killed on impact and that they struck a pole first then ended up at the tree. Crashed and burned. And that's true live by the sword die by the sword. What makes me wonder is did the guys loose control? Or got cut off? Or did a tire blow out? RIP Paul Walker . . . Respects
  16. I'm really looking for some 243 ported heads but really can't find any for a 1000 or below. So I am considering getting some Texas Speed PRC CNC stage 2.5 but without the springs and retainers and keepers which should lower the price a bit from 1500. Also maybe even get the stage 3 depending on the price with the valves only. But will these heads still have my compression ratio at about 11.4 because I'm not looking for 12. Trying to keep it in the gas friendly zone not trying to go 3mpg lol thanks ahead of time
  17. My friend used a dry shot and it blew up on the within the first two runs. I believe you must use a wet shot for a stock bottom end. Also I believe a safe shot would be 125-150. 200 is pushing it although you might be able to spray a 200 shot with a methanol injection system. idk don't try spraying a 200 shot because I say so
  18. I thought the LSXRT plenum gains around 40hp or more with a set of good heads?
  19. You should be good with those mods man. Unless your making like hp550+ I'm assuming. I'm probably making around 400-450 all I got for now is 3600 edge stall in the trans
  20. You need pigtails I think there like 60 for 8 or so probably cheaper
  21. And also you should just type in the ls3/ L92 intake manifold on ebay they have em for like 180
  22. I have a ls3 throttle body 90mm I'm selling it for 115 if you need it for the ls3/l92 plenum
