  1. Yeah its gonna be around 224 or lower to run stock injectors and maybe a 3000 stall

  3. I believe he only has a 100 shot with a built 65e, e fans, and a stall.
  4. Mine has 180k in it I get about 10mpg city and 14mpg at 70mph

Spray it if you are looking for the times but cam it to fall back in love with it man a 1000 is perfect for a cam kit man just choose wisely honestly if I were you I'm assuming you just going cam it and be done with it for a while get a torquer v cam! Or look into a g8 man honestly I've been looking into a g8 lately and also considering one of the new 5.0s but I already take em both with my ss but man if I had a cammed g8 that would be sick! Its a close call man really close call g8 gets much better gas mileage and can still have 5 people
  6. Lol 8 mpg who ever said 8mpg or are you just assuming? I currently get 9.4mpg and thats with hitting every time I get the chance when I am at a steady speed say 45 it says 16mpg and when I am going 70 it says 14mpg

  8. I don't think its the tune I think its my fault lol he told me to put a shift kit and I never did now its slipping I took too long. But I wonder if a 4L65E with a shift kit will hold heads cam intake
  9. Now the reason I say that is because we will be installing some ported heads soon I'm not gonna want the trans break a 4th time.
  10. Lol are you insulting me? Okay I see. Fyi when it first broke we assumed it wasn't because of the horsepower so we simply put it back together with the same parts but new ones. Turns out its because I'm making too much hp. So I bought a shift kit and servo and tranny cooler before we put it on it started slipping again.

Okay if he is going to be towing it through some ups and downs then he will need more low end torque than a stall okay I understand that but if he ever want to drive it on the freeway the stall's new lock up clutch will drop his original 2300rpm @ 70mph to 2100rpm @ 70mph Saving you gas on the road trips! Its the truth thats how it works for me to this day!

  14. Hey I somehow got better gas mileage on the highway before when I took a 2 hour drive I needed to put 60 bucks to refill it back up now with cam and 3600 stall intake It took 40 bucks. it gets better gas explain that hmm maybe its the lockup clutch from the new stall!

  16. So the transmission is missing again we are debating on buying a kit for 500hp and 450tq and installing it ourselves or doing a 4L80E swap. What would we need to perform a 4L80E swap? I read two duramax driveshafts and a 1350 yoke. Or should I give the 4L65E a third chance?

If you are only going to be spraying a 100 shot it won't really make a big difference on what cam you put but yeah I guess that cam ain't bad but see if you can find some like 224 234 or 228 240 it needs a big split in duration for the cam to work well with nitrous. BTW its Johnny from YouTube did you ever check out my race between me and that tuned ls3 vette?
  18. What's wrong with a 3600 stall its still right on the edge of daily driving. Hes said he wants more torque okay a torquerv cam thats what you need when you tow something

  20. Get a cam maybe a torquer v cam? Should be around 890 for the cam kit and installed just depending on where you get it done maybe a 1000 for cam kit installed. Also maybe a nice intake and stall converter say maybe a LSXRT a 3600 stall and a shift kit and corvette servo. You should make about 450hp to 500ish like that some may say instead of the intake go with heads but heads can be pricey at least a 1000 to maybe 3000.

I'm telling you man get some ported L92s and good boost cam and go Procharger you should make say at least 600hp if the setup is done right on the stock bottom end of course these guys might say you should be making a 1000 on that daily driver setup but if you go Maggie thats up to you but I say you go with a LSXR intake some ported L92s a good boost cam maybe the g6x3 I think thats what its called probably going to spend around 10000 for intake, cam kit, heads, stall, transmission, d1sc procharger and all the other little mods.
