  1. It should bolt right up, it's a lq9 throttle body. I didn't get any bolts but I didn't need any.
  2. I don't know. Guy I bought it from said 10, but a mechanic friend say probably more like 5-7. I never put it in.
  3. Got this off eBay but never used it. It was hand ported by previous owner. I started to clean it up, but now I'm working on the ls2 intake setup. $65 shipped Again, if I could edit thread titles, I'd stop making new threads. Sorry.
  4. I believe these came out of a 06 Hummer. I used them in my truck for a while but I couldn't get them embroidered. They have 3 positions going forward. $60 shipped I bought this TBSS engine cover with my intake but I don't like it. Previous owner painted it an used reflective tape. None of the appearance was by me. It also has the rubber receiver piece that came on that intake as well the original butterfly nut with rubber washers, just not in the picture $60 shipped. Edit: I should have combined these sales threads. If admin want to combine them please do. Thanks
  5. You're not too far from me, I'd like to see that bad boy in person one of these days.
  6. I'm not saying my truck is gonna be 1000hp some day...but I'm not saying won't, lol! I suppose these will get me by for a while and they're cheap. Thanks for the link.
  7. Someone suggested I use arp cam bolts instead of the much more expensive arp header bolts. My question is, cam retainer bolts or cam sprocket bolts? Right now I still have stock exhaust manifolds in there but I have a broken stud I need to replace.
  8. I did mention to him about the other official colors. I think he chose just the right shade of red. I'm sure he does his research. And ya know, we haven't had too many really nice days here in WI and i was glad for that…driving around with only one headrest in my truck, it was kinda embarrassing. I barely rolled them down on the couple warm days we did have. Well thats the end of that! This would have taken approx 11-12 days from the time I shipped to the time got them back but i had to ship that second set. So it was about 18 days with 1 headrest lol!
  9. Well, I'm not sure what he's gonna charge. My understanding was I paid for the digitizing of the logo. So i'd guess thats doesn't need to be done for anyone else, unless they want something different. I don't know what the cost of stock pewter headrests, cause like i said, they were sent to me by mistake. But he charged me $30 to digitize, $20 per headrest embroidery, $25 for return shipping. So he charged me $135 I also spent $50 on the headrests and i worried about my headrests getting damaged on the way there so i spent more to ship mine down (($40 insured vs $30 uninsured). And I actually included one of my stock SS embroidered headrest for the heck of it so they can see what it loos like from the factory. Plus another $15 for sending the right set of headrests. So for me, i spent about $240. But I'd guess now that the image is digitized, and w/ regular shipping around $30 (and not having to send down another set). But you'll still have to find a pair of stock headrests, i paid $50. Around $185 total.
  10. http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f29/custom-embroidered-leather-headrests-console-covers-29607/ Here's the thread i found him in while searching the web.
  11. So about 6 weeks ago I was trying to locate some tilt headrest because I find them to be much more comfortable when I drive. On eBay I found some pewter tilts that I believe came out of a Hummer. The seller screwed up and sent me a set of stock pewter non tilting silverado headrest first, apologized, told me to just keep them and then sent the correct ones (this will be important later). Now I was searching the web for someplace I could get some embroidery work done in them. The first google result was almost always the autoEmbroidery.com website. They said they could do anything and have an impressive set of pictures of work they've done. Unfortunately, after two weeks and multiple emails, there was not one reply. Back to searching the web. I came across a 16 page thread on a Ford Raptor website about a guy who was doing custom embroidery for these guys. I read all 16 pages and there wasn't a bad word said about his work. He had a contact number so I figured what the heck. We texted back and forth for a few days. I honestly didn't think he'd be interested but he was. So we talked about digitizing the image, prices, shipping, about how long it would take etc. So I shipped out the headrests. But after he received them, he told me the tilt covers are not removable. But if I had a plain set that the covers came off of, like the rear covers, we'd be in business. Well, it just so happened I had that extra set from eBay. He's interested in joining the site to expand his business. However since he's not really selling merchandise but instead a service, I didn't know if he'd be required to be a paid vendor or not. But i'm sure he'll offer up any info people ask about. Oh hell, here's the pics already!
  12. I prefer the red on red, it just looks right to me. But I'd peel off that dealer plaque ASAP and maybe pick up a red tailgate handle.
  13. I'll be 40 this summer. A lot of those terms are from before my youth. However, some I use. A few years ago I bought a 1965 Chevy G10 van and since then I have a much greater appreciation for the 60's and 70's (especially the vanning culture). My manual brake, manual steering van has a suicide knob. It'd be a bear to drive without it. I still refer to it as the emergency brake. Parking brake sounds dorky, lol Rat Fink, only one thing comes to my mind, Big Daddy Roth. My mom and dad still invite us over for supper. But I do find myself calling my kids down for dinner. I guess supper sounds poor in some way. Which is something most people try to elevate themselves from. I don't know. Good post though, thanks!
  14. That's the down side to clones, they're almost indistinguishable from the real ones. Yep, they flood the market with 'em, next thing you know the value of the real ones goes in the toilet. If it wasn't for the title of the vid, I couldn't tell
  15. Bump for sneak peek Since the tilts couldn't be embroidered (so far anyway) I should have these back later in the week. I'll post up full pics of them in the truck.
  16. So for an '03, this will be a direct bolt on and wire hookup? Then I'd only need to have it switched in the tune?
  17. I'll take these too lol! What else you got??
  18. I think I'll take it. Can you send me a pic of the stuff.
  19. Ok, maybe a long shot, but how about the spare tire cable lowering mechanism. Mine was seized up and i had to cut off the cable end. I'm lighter without the spare but if i take a trip i don't want to put the spare in the bed. Thanks
