Not that I'm looking for one, but someone might be interested in this if it is one. I don't know if it is or not but it kinda looks like the flush type.

The side covers are easy to find. But if you are looking for the "Vortec MAX" center cover, http://www.gmpartsgiant.com/parts/gm-cover-12598332.html brand new $38 + about $10 shipping. Listed for 2006 SS LQ9 center cover.

Looks great! I wish i could that spoiler to work with my existing fiberglass cover.

If this is just about "the have's and the have not's" …forget the whole damn thing. It's a $5 poster at best. If anyone makes something custom, even if its from your own truck, then let me know. I thought this whole SSS scene was more of a brotherhood...

HA! Makes me cringe though, my truck came from there

For the life of me i couldn't find where you posted about doing this. I'm glad you chimed in. Can the foam be swapped over as well? Otherwise these are the ones i bought. They listed for 99-06 silverado. http://www.ebay.com/itm/301107511141?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:BIN&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2650

Im taking about taking the coverings off my existing SS headrests and putting them on a different set of tilt headrests. Not new embroidery, if thats what you're talking about. My buddy's neighbor does all kinds of custom interior work. This job would be a piece of cake for him.

$800+…each? Too rich for my blood! But they look cool. Looking forward to seeing them on your truck

I found this http://www.gmheritagecenter.com/docs/gm-heritage-archive/vehicle-information-kits/Silverado/2003-Chevrolet-Silverado-SS.pdf page 21 breaks down the vin but the last 6 digits are plant sequence numbers, whatever that means.
Also, there are some really weird things in this 210 page pdf. First being a picture of a regular cab with SS cladding and wheels on the cover page. Then i see on page 13 it says it was gonna come with the 4l85??? Who shot that down?? Damn it!
The last 23 pages are specifics about the options of the SS

Bummer. I was hoping to maybe get something made up.
Can the entire vin be decifered?
-
Is there any way to know that exact number of my truck? Possibly from the VIN? Example, '03 had 9,357 made (according to comp-nine thats how many trucks were produced with the 1SS RPO), my vin's last 4 digits are 1990. Is my truck #1,990 of 9,357?

Non-tilting headrests in my truck is just something i can't stand lol. I'm hoping i can get some similar tilt headrests and get them recovered with my SS skins. I'm looking at a pair from an 05 escalade but I'm unsure of the spacing of the bars and the seller (salvage yard selling on ebay with 1000s of listings) never gets back to me with measurements.
Is there a verified compatible part from another vehicle that anyone else has used? I thought i read somewhere here that somebody tried using a Hummer H2 pair that fit but he couldn't get them to tilt once installed. Any info would be appreciated.
