  1. I'm not overly knowledgable about tunes, yet. But i thought i read that if you don't tow, you could use the tow button for say 1/4 mile runs, ect. What about tuning the truck for the best gas mileage but use the tow button as an alternate tune for when you want to fool around?

I'm asking because i'm driving 100 miles a day on the freeway and I'm getting shit for mileage these days {avg. 11mpg). Truck has fresh oil, plugs, wires, all new O2 sensors, new fuel filter, new drive line fluids, new pcv, and a clean K&N. But my gas mileage sucks. I'm spending $160+ week on 93 octane gas. I set the cruise and try not to floor it (too often :jester: ). Plugged cats maybe? I don't know, but i was thinking maybe better mileage with a tune but i still want the power at the press of a button. I don't want to castrate this bull, just put a jock strap on it, lol!

  2. I like that. I did a little searching around for Devries Signs. It seems that they are not in business at the moment. There is a sub forum here http://www.zr2usa.com/mboard/index.php?showforum=77 but it appears to be locked. I also found a directory with a bunch of their work here http://www.zr2usa.com/Decals/ with some cool stuff. There is even a Facebook page with a phone number https://www.facebook.com/pages/Devries-Signs/154444711257842 but from what i've read here and there on the web, that business is closed. But i didn't try calling the phone number though. If you pursue this and get ahold of this guy let me know. I'm interested in some of his stuff too.

  3. I just replaced all four of my O2 sensors last weekend. After seeing the prices at Autozone (anywhere from 60-80 each) I did a lot of searching on ebay. Best prices on both the up and down sensors were from the same seller. I paid $112 shipped for all four and got them in 5 days.

    Heres one http://www.ebay.com/itm/150837315003?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

    Heres the other http://www.ebay.com/itm/380812422839?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

    Hope this helps

And yes, its cold as f*** out!

  4.

I should have when i did my motor, but ran out of cash. my brother did on his WS6 and I will tell you the motor shakes the car... I did however do a full Energy bushing kit in the front suspension and i LOVE IT

I was planning on doing the energy suspension kit as well on my truck when I get around to buying the Bilstein shocks. I believe the whole kit on summit is like $300..I hear it is night and day compared to the stock setup!

I'm sorry to reply to an old post, but when I goto Energy Suspensions site or even Summit Racing, i can't find any kits (front-end, whole body, or otherwise) for my SS. Am i looking for just a general 4wd 1500 kit?

  5. Every time i read a thread that has some great info i KNOW i'll need to reference in the future, I go right up to the "Follow this topic" and mark it for instant notification. By now i should have 30+ threads marked. I just checked (i think, i go up to my screen name at the top of the page, click for the drop down menu, and click on "content I follow") and all that is there is the 2 topics i've added today. Are all those other threads lost? Are they not being saved? Do i have a setting messed up? I know when i visit the site NOT logged in, viewing forums only list the last 30 days worth of topics, until I change the settings to view all topics.

    Kinda frustrating.

    Little help please.

    Thanks
