  1. no problem. great guy, talk to him almost on a daily basis. definitely worth the wait for a tune. gotta be patient with him though he is very busy, and sometimes hard to get a hold of him. best way to contact him honestly is just to call. if he doesn't answer don't leave a message just wait a bit and call again, he wont get mad. this is what he will ask you to do just keep calling till you finally get him. sometimes he gets so busy he forgets to call back the numbers that he missed so just wait a while and call again. until he knows you and has your number in his phone he wont always call back. zippy 231-638-1981
  2. I personally think the SSS is a very special truck whether it was to ever be a collector item or not. Call me crazy but I would not trade mine even if the offer for the new Camaro was a even trade. I love how much people admire my truck, and people still think its a newer model truck. You just don't see many of them any more especially ones in good condition, and I think its something to hold onto.
  3. no problem im not in a hurry to change mine right now anyway. too many Christmas presents to buy right now, lol
  4. if your still looking for a tuner I might be a little farther than you want to come but im in Memphis and can help you out. I use hp tuners and do data log tuning for Zippy for people in my area. Zippy is very reputable on this site.
  5. gonna follow this for suggestions before I replace my driver element since im not 100% that's what it is
  6. yea ive been in that situation so much lately ive had to result to taken it to the drive through car wash. I hate not having time to do a good hand washing, but the drive through was is better than rolling dirty!
  7. not gonna lie, I turn and look back at mine every morning after I park at work. lol. I might be obsessed
  8. Same here people ask what year it is and are shocked to hear it's 12 years old, lol.
  9. So guys I'm just curious how many of you this happens to. Not that I'm bragging or complaining cuz I love it, lol. But I seriously don't go less than 5 days a week without someone stopping me to compliment me on my truck. Whether it be at the gas station while pumping gas cuz I usually leave it running and most of the time it draws attention from it loping and it gets compliments from the cam sound. Or while I'm at a red light and the person next to me is yelling over my loud exhaust about how nice my truck is or how awesome it sounds. Like today, I didn't even make it off the street my work was on and I was at the red light with the windows up and guy next to me is waving to roll the window down so I do, and he is just in drool saying man that is a beautiful truck and it sounds great. Its a great feeling to have a truck that's fixing to be 12 years old and at a minimum of 5 out of 7 days a week someone somewhere stops me to say something about it. Then it helps me out since I do data log tuning through Zippy I've got there attention so now I get to give them one of my business cards, lol
  10. couldn't agree more, he has helped me with everything on my build. I talk to him pretty much every day, lol. He is an awesome guy and a great tuner. I even do email tunes through him for many people in my area. He always has an answer for whatever I have to ask him about my current build. congrats on the times. I hope to be there soon!
  11. Does anyone know the part number for the 25.2lb or 30lb 8.1L truck injectors. not the marine injectors. thanks
  12. thanks, got the stall in Monday night. Im loving it! Man what a difference. Should of done this a long time ago. Going to test and tune tomorrow right after work. I'll post my new times when I get home.
  13. I did. I sent circle d all my mod info on my truck, including cam specs. and told them the stall size I was wanting. And I ordered the one they recommended.

  15. your 60ft was much better. probably due to the stall. hope to see mine drop a good bit once I put it in. might get started late this afternoon. got family pics today. o joy, lol. and doc tomorrow morning. So Tuesday at the latest will be putting it in.
  16. Hey everyone, just got home from the local St. Jude event held at one of our 1/8th mile strips. I haven't been to the track in quit a while, in fact I haven't been at all since I put the new engine in back in march. Well I never pay attention to what a good 1/8th mile number is for my combination of mods. So looking for some input on how yall think I did. Gonna be hitting up the 1/4 strip next week but for now I definitely wanted to donate and participate in the annual St. Jude event. And before I get the responses I know I will get of " you need a stall " lol trust me I know. And its sitting in the living room floor, just came in Wednesday. Just been working all week and didn't get to put it in before tonight. mods are in sig, so let me know what you think of how the truck did. this was my best reaction .702 60ft 2.102 e/t 8.616 mph 76.05
  17. lol thanks man, guess I am a lil popular around my area. mainly only cuz I probably pissed someone off from blowing there ear drums out when blowing past em. lol. sorry I haven't been on in a while, just been so slammed with work.
  18. mine has a rebuilt title due to it being a recovered theft. doesn't really bother me at all. I don't ever plan on getting rid of the truck so makes no difference to me. and like already mentioned above truck is 11 years old and it turns heads every day all day!
