Thinking at the moment I am going with Tahoe Police Wheels instead of the cragars. The police wheels are semi-gloss just like my painted grill. I will make a decision eventually.

Nice! Can you explain in the first pic...the all black rim and how you got the silver in the middle of the cap? Did you powdercoat the rim, and the paint the cap but not the chevy emblem center?

image by Afun2011, on Flickr This is the wheels. It's 17 x 8 with 245/70R17....the overall look compared to the stock tire would be 1 inch smaller. I didn't paint my scoops black so the chrome center cap would look pretty good. This actual wheel come with a red and blue line around the lip. Kind of cool, don't know how it would look. This wheel also has a Rear wheel drive offset. What does that mean? The wheel below doesn't have no color to the lip. Don't know what to do. Seems like everyone has Reps. What do you guys think? You do sacrifice size....biggest they go is 17 x 8....but I sure do like them. D window steel wheel with the Red and Blue line and a chrome Cragar Blue decal center cap and chrome lug nuts or black...

Tell me more about a custom tune....who would do this? What are some more details?

Looks great. Dropped the truck off at the body shop to fix a small issue with the driver door molding getting pinched every time I open the door. I told them to go ahead and paint the grill (top, bottom and inside scoops) Semi-Gloss black. I agree that the grill needs to have just a bit of shine. Left the scoops silver and the SS barging silver. I also purchased a new Bowtie...picture will follow.

I think the the scoops being black just darkens the front end too much. The black wheels tires with white lettering like the Bridgestone Duelers is the look I'm going for.

The second pic has the air duct painted? I wanted to leave those silver and just do the grille and bowtie. Do you have black wheels? Now I'm thinking doing a semi-gloss to the grill. Still matte black with the wheels.

They are all really nice and look good...I think I am going to keep it simple and go with Matte Black

I think if you are looking for a Matte black finish....Plasti Dip could work for grille and other small parts.

Any Videos Out There? Thinking of just doing the plastic grey Grille, and bowtie. I want to leave the Scoops grey and SS emblems grey.
