  1. when you get one let me know..i live in your area (stationed at fort campbell) we will set up a meet or something
  2. new to the ss club,i live in the clarksville tn area and im looking for other ss guys.. ive seen quite a few trucks out in my area so if your one let me know we can set up a meet/cruise of some kind...im the only lifted ss guy around (victory red, cant miss me) if you see me feel free to say hello...give me a rev atleast lol
  3. any drone at all with those loudmouth's? and which loudmouths exactly 2 series or 3 series?
  4. and arnt the loudmouths just like a glass pack of sorts?
  5. off topic here but is ther any way to find other ss guys near me using this site?new to the site and its features so if im missing something the help is apreciated thanks
  6. whats your exhaust setup exactly?if you dont mind me asking
  7. iactually dont want it extremely loud to the point i cant have a conversation in the cab...so i was thinking more mufflers equals a little less noise? versus a dual pipe to single inlet single muffler single outlet configuration if that makes sence
  8. so the question now is single or dual 250's?
  9. anyone got a sound clip with a blackwidow on ther ss?
  10. no kidding lol think im going with the black widow 250
  11. i spoke with a guy at jd fabrications (leader of build on ther awd long travel truck) and he said they didnt really do anything at all with upgrading the transfer case on ther build so i dont anticipate having to do it either, both diffs are being swapped out to eaton trutracs when i have the time and of course the tranny will be swapped out in due time as well monster makes a nice upgrade for not to much money so no worries in that department i actually did come across this thread some time ago and id find it useful however i would still be limited on travel with the stock control arms but thanks anyways
  12. i should have stated i almost considered a regular VMAX i looked around to entertain the thought of it and couldnt find any at a reasonable price and distance anyways plus i got a hell of a deal on my ss...to clear things up a touch im not going for a "LIFTED" truck for looks of the lift what so ever...im going for a fully functional offroad "racer" dare i call it that much like a truck you would see running the baja 1000 just a much more mild build here is a link to what first gave me the inspiration-only difference is mine will have larger tires when complete and usuable wheel travel with the help of coilovers..i simply saw the ss as a good platform to start with because first off it was cheap (for me atleast) had a great engine to start with, usuable transmission until upgrade is financially possible, and the awd which was the biggest plus in my eyes...no one can deny the fact that awd with 15 plus inches of wheel travel amounts to a great deal of fun and performance what gave me the inspiration------http://norcalprerunners.com/id69.html
  13. was considering it because of the easy install with chopping off oem and putting in the two super 10's but thanks ill look into it
  14. yeah im not sure about the headlights yet either just put them on yesterday still feeling it out...really dimmed out my lights even with the brightest hids any local auto store had to offer...BUT THANKS GUYS!
  15. debating on running dual super 10's in place of my oem muffler on 2004 ss ....anyone else done this already thers got to be someone out ther who has?
  16. so i just picked up my first ss its a 2004 awd, done some things to it the most significant and noticeable would be the 3 inch front lift 2 inch rear lift with 285/75r16 ATTURO TRAILBLADE MT'S ,i know what your thinking how dare i lift a ss....such is the topic of much hate ...which is a small part of the reason i choose to do it im trying to break the one track mind of lower is always better with these trucks...so an insight to the future of my build..this build like many others will take a while..... because i to have not hit the lottery yet and work on a fixed income with little whiggle room....but the basic vision for this truck is to build a custom mid travel kit to include fibergass fenders all the way around, tiregate, bedcage for coilovers, and some moddest engine mods..if i dont feel like sourcing together the midtravel myself i may just jump up to a long travel through jd fabrications in hopefully the next couple tax seasons...so please feel free to through out any thoughts opinions or ideas...shown is a picture of what i have so far
