  1.

As far as the seats and harness, I will have to get the seats out and see what it is going to take to get the harness out. I am sure shipping will be a pretty good chunk on these but I will get an estimate. Be patient on this one it may take a few days.

Sorry for the way I worded it but I have the front seats, I just need the floor harness. From the fuse box all the way to the passenger seat. LMK Thanks.

  2. Lots of different way to do this. Because your is blue, its not easy finding use blue grille.

    1. Buy red one on ebay and paint it blue.

    2. Find a used one on craigslist, and take the piece out and have it painted blue.

The piece is glue heated to the mesh section and you take a dremel and cut around them and it can be removed from the mesh section.

All 3 pieces can be separated from each other. Then to hold it back on I use double sided tape and the bowtie is bolted back in place also holds it on.

  3. I was looking into the coilovers also.

The springs are new 2 inch drop Belltech from Tony at TBSS and the spacers are 1 inch Belltech. Shocks are new Belltech also.

The stock springs might be the right way to go, I don't have the stock ones, other option Tony mention was remove the 1 inch spacers and add 2 inch ones, I wonder if the ride quality drops with the spacers.

I have the Nitto 555 285/35 on the back, some other on the front but want to match 285/35 all the way around.

Just trying to decide what way to go with only taking the front apart again.

  4. When I got my single cab (2 wheel drive) the front was really low so I purchased a new set of 2 inch drop springs and new shocks for the front and it had 2 inch drop spindles on front, add a 1 inch spacer on both side.

But from other single cabs with this installation mine looks lower than normal. Tire size is 265/35/22.

Why is mine lower? It rubs when I hit dip in the road and I want to match the back with 285/35/22.

  5. After spending time researching the trucking company SGC Inc. Carrier that would not cover the damaged they did on my truck, I find the owners Stanley Smith and wife Mary Smith was charged in an extensive drug operation.

  7. Sorry to hear about your poor experience. Have you filed a complaint with the BBB? It isn't much but it may save others some heartache.

Yes, I am going to do that.

Have you tried talking to a lawyer about this? I wouldn't take no for an answer and make those mfers pay

Thinking about this, family member is a lawyer, he may do it for a small fee.

Sucks to hear they're doing you this way; it always seemed to me that getting brokers involved with shipping makes things sketchy. Problem is, a lot of them seem like they're pretending to be the shipper instead of coming out and telling you they're just middlemen looking to profit without getting their hands dirty.

    Thats about what happen.

  9. Grumpytony, when I was look to buy it was quite wide of what guys wanted, average was $8K to $23k, depend on what they have done. A stock RCSB depend on what year and shape can vary from $3k to $10k, and Blue book for my 2003 Regular Cab Short box was $8600. Trans plant 6.0 cost vary depending on the price you pay for the motor and if you do the install or pay someone else, and if you don't like the color and want new paint average $5-$7 for a professional job. SS cladding, Total interior, wheels, tire, suspension, is up in the air for your cost. of the deals you find. So the average with most of this done I see at $14K well under what the prior paid for everything. I paid less, and it came with the 6.0 new paint, full SS interior, full SS cladding, the suspension,( which I bought new and replaced, So since I have had it I have put another $2k into it, and my time.

  10. If most of you, like me have never used a auto carrier, here is my experience. I hired Eshiptransport (broker) to ship my Silverado SS Clone, first most of these companies are brokers and don't have there own auto carriers, they give you a quote and call and find a trucking company that will do it for less and make a few hundred.

So you sign a contract with the broker for the price and delivery time. But the broker insurance will not cover any damage, so when it comes time you do not have a contract with the trucking company. And they blow it off and if they did nothing and to go after there driver.

So Eshipstrasport hired SGC Inc Carrier to pick up my truck, I told Eship my truck was a low riding truck and to make sure they knew that. They said they did. SGC Inc Carrier showed and and ran it up on the ramps and scraped the front cover and broke off the air duct, braking the tab off and scuffing them both up. Small but repaint and air ducts are not cheap. So do to this I'm having a hard time getting my damage paid for, I sent them 3 estimates, and average of $700 dollars to repaint the front bumper and to replace the damage air duct. They just flat out said were not paying for it.

So read your contract and get a signed contract also with the auto carrier and all there insurance information.
