Paint that bottom grill black. -
If I change out the pcv to the FV391(fram) as suggested, anyone have any new info on this idea??
-
The warrenty is not even the point. They did not address the correct problem. I d go back and complain.
-
I don t know if anyones running such high tire pressures as you?? Maybe that helps. What does the differnt PCV value do?
-
I believe they are much wider than the stockers in your sig photo. The new ones should be the same overall height of what you have on now. Larger rim(20), and lower profile tire (55). They shouldn t rub anyplace. Thats all I can figure by what you posted.

UPS 4 day ground is aprox $20 shipping from NJ to Cal.. The polisher was about 110. Used twice, still in orig box. Make offer thru my PM if still interested.

changing the shaft will not correct problem, only a regrease will be a temp. fix until it returns.
-
My friend is a tech at GMC and is going to regrease mine next month. He says they wouldn t even allow him to order any shafts because that not the problem. He says there is a right way and a wrong way to grease them and it should last 20-30K if done right. It s free so I ll try it

I m in, 2500 lubed, 10k replaced, 23k starting again.
-
If I take off the nut and bolt on either side of the firewall on the steering shaft and remove the section which about 12 inches long, how does this get greased??
-
Mine too. Was lubed at 2500 miles and then later replaced and is now starting again at 23K. I m going to attempt a lube myself as soon as someone answers my post on how to do it.
-
How difficult is it to take appart to grease? Do you need the grease kit from the dealer or any special tools or can you grease by hand?
-
Used twice, Porter cable polisher. Don t yet know about shipping. Still in original box. Best offerer.

Go on pcmforless website for information also. He has everything you need and is easy to work with. Also does anyone know what the difference between most of the tuners we are using? Do they use pretty much the same programs? -
PICS: what a difference 3M Finesse-It makes
cerbomark replied to misterp's topic in Appearance, Cleaning, & Detailing
3M just came out with Ultrafina 3000 SE (swirl eliminator) made especially for dark colors, made to be used with a polisher. I was having trouble with the finish of certain vehicles in the sunlight (swirling marks). Since I ve used it I haven t been out in the sun with the vehicles yet to see, but under the shop lighting most of the swirling looks to be gone. Gonna do the truck this weekend. Either Napa can order or body shop suppilies carry it and it s about $45 for the bottle. -
The TBSS runs like an animal. I m am happy with my tune (Blue SS) and he just tweeked it a bit more as mine had the tune a while ago. We are all trying to run an 89 octane tune and looking for that fine line of overadvancing the timming and getting knock and getting more performance. They run and shift much better than stock. The TBSS I think will now get better fuel mileage. We see some improvement already and time will tell for sure.
