  1. The result: Gold Bowtie Blvd Award. 994 points out of 1000. Who knew you needed a spare tire (-5 points)/
  2. Keep in mind that the Foose Edition F-150 is another conversion by Wheel to Wheel/Tecstar, Just like the Silverado SS.
  3. Were they vision and taste impaired?
  4. Yea, what Joe said. I got distracted before I hit the "send" button.
  5. The conversion from regular Silverado to Silverado SS was done by Tecstar at a plant in Canada. Both Tecstar and Wheel to Wheel are part of Quantum Technologies.
  6. If you're telling us you got beat by the Avalanche "SS" it's gotta be a bad April Fools joke! That 60's Chevy P/U looks very nice. Like Chevy II's/Nova's much? It looks like there were alot of nice vehicles there. I hope to make it to a Super Chevy show someday.
  7. From someone who doesn't actually own a SSS but purchased every piece of the cladding - That's a good price!
  8. Thanks Chad! It sounds like you're going to be very busy on Saturday. Stewart
  9. I'll be in Rosemont next weekend at the ChevyVettefest with my truck. It looks like Rosemont is about an hour east of Sycamore If any of the Chicago area guys have a chance, stop by and introduce yourself. Thanks, Stewart
  10. This is one of, if not the largest indoor all Chevy (and Chevy powered) shows of the year with over 400 cars and more than 150 vendors. This year they're featuring LS6 powered cars and a Straight Axle & Vintage Racecar Showcase along with a YenkoSupercars display. It's a great show. More info can be found here. I'll be there with my truck. If anyones planning to attend, send me a PM before Wednesday the 2nd and I'll send you my cell number.
  11. It looks like SoCal Diesel makes a mount that will work with the DashHawk. It's available in 3 different finishes, with and without stitches. I know that's not a DashHawk in the photo. It appears MSD and Edge use the same case.
  12. Have you seen all the new concrete on the island? The first time I saw it I thought it would be perfect for an autocross.
  13. As my reign as the CFT comes to a close, I once again want to thank everyone who voted and those who made positive comments about my truck. It's been an honor. Stewart looking forward to Zippy08
  14. The BedRug in my Silverado doesn't get used for much except for hauling stuff to shows so it's not a good reference. The one in my S-10 daily driver is a different matter. It's been in the truck since new (Fall 2000), I've carried engines, transmissions, rear axles and all kinds of other things and it still looks great. It currently could use a little cleaning but it can be powerwashed and look almost as good as new. Mines under a soft tonneau but a buddy has one without a cover and his looks great too. I don't work for BedRug and get nothing from this, I'm just a very satisfied customer. As far as the GMPP one not fitting as tight as the BedRug, that could be dependant on the installation. Find out if the GM one is still made by BedRug. If not I'd pass on that one.
  15. Check out the BF Goodrich G-Force KDW's!
  16. When I purchaed my BedRug in 2005, the GM one was made by the same company. It was identical except for the Chevy Bowtie. I do remember the GM one was alot more money.
  17. That and the coil spring rear suspension.
