Those trucks were actually built by ASC in Southgate, MI. They're the same company that built the Buick GNX's. I worked there at the time. The power rear window was a kit. I don't know who made it. At the time I owned a RCSB GMC Sonoma and I looked into it. I decided against it because it took up 3"-4" of space behind the seats and I drove with the seat all the way back. Good luck with your project.

Here's mine. They're laminated, mounted on 1/2" foam core and edge taped. For a 20' x 20' display I use 2 signs. I think they work best if they're high enough to be easily read without stooping down to read them. Please be sure to post photos of what you come up with.

Anyone Want To Road Course Your Truck?
ImpoSStor SS replied to detjoe's topic in Events, Gatherings, & Rallys
My Impala SS has been alot of fun at Waterford Hills but I don't think I want to run the truck there. I'd love to watch a bunch of trucks on a road course though. -
Congrats Joe! Good luck with the Spanish.

I just found a few photos of my cladding installation: As you can see from this photo, there are several different size brackets. I don't remember which bed cladding piece these came with (probably the front ones).

Very impressive!

In addition to what's in my signature I've got this: It's an unrestored 1929 Ford Model A Fordor. My dad bought it in 1955. Here are my wife's rides (she has a thing for white cars): 1996 Grand Prix Special Edition (daily driver) & a 1973 454 Corvette Coupe.

Welcome to the group! There are several of us on here from SE Michigan. I'm in Waterford.

The 5-speed transmission out of my truck is available. It is from a 2004 2WD 4.8 RCSB. The truck was trailered home from the dealer and the engine and trans were swapped out for a LQ9/T56. These parts only have 2 miles on them and have been stored on a shelf in my climate controlled shop. Everything in the photo is included for $1000 plus shipping. They are located in Waterford, MI.

Congrats! Is that garage unusually shaped?

I'm confident they've got the talent to do it (especially in Green Bay)!

Ta Rear Girdle Leaking...
ImpoSStor SS replied to kelleyperformance's topic in AWD, Differential, & Transmission Tech
I have these covers on 2 vehicles and have never had a leak when using the pipe sealer. -
It took me a while to find these photos of a white RCSB PHANTOM. I believe I got them from an ebay listing. It's a well done PHANTOM, it just sits a little high. That's all I know about it.

The Matchbox Silverado SS is 1:76 scale. It's a little too big for an N-gauge layout.

Which game console is best for households with kids in their 40's and why? Thanks! My Mom's buying Wii's for Christmas and I read they're great for homes with pre-teens.

There are several small scale Silverado SS's available. The Hallmark ornament was in their 2005 catalog and is available on ebay and other on-line stores. There have been nearly 10 Matchbox versions. Just like the full size trucks the little ones can be customized also. I'm kind of addicted to this stuff.

Here's what they look like:

Thanks! When that photo was taken it had a 2/3 drop. Since then I've added an Eibach rear shackle kit for a 2/4 drop.

It's an awesome show. Once you go, you'll want to go every year.
