Then why even have a bed?

A typical Spray-in Beliner adds about 40-50 pounds to the weight of the truck depending upon who sprayed it.

Actually the new Challenger will be next, then the Camaro.

I am really thinking about selling my Cobra and building one for myself. I love the new Candy Apple Red.

The tire dressing was just put on the car 2 minutes before I took the pics.

Every year, a national trade magazine called "Restyling" has what they call the "Restyling Awards". Different Auto Restyling businesses submit pictures of their work they have done for customers over the past year. I just received email notification that two Mustangs I built for a Ford dealer made it into the magazine this year!! I had my SS, a Ram, a Charger, and two other Mustangs make it in 2006. I did not submit anything last year. Both of the cars that made it this year were very similar. A local Ford Dealer and I have designed a package for the 2005 and newer Mustangs that recreates the look of a 1970 Boss 302. The package includes a chin spoiler, matte black rear spoiler, Honeycomb rear trunk panel, taillight trim, aluminum rear window louvers, side window louvers or scoops, "Magnum" style replica wheels, a Full Boss Stripe Kit designed and made by myself and my brother, and a Functional Shaker Hood Scoop. The dealer installs the Ford Racing Handling Pack, Drag Pack, CAI, X-Pipe, Headers, Exhaust 4.10 Gears, Re-Flashed PCM, Hurst Shifter, Etc. We built 3 cars for 2007 and are already on the 3rd car for 2008. The most recent car we finished is a 2008 Candy Apple Red Boss Replica. It is pretty cool to see my work in a national magazine, and hopefully it will turn into some stripe kit sales. The CA Red 2008 is at the bottom.

Try to find a Local Goodmark Dealer and ask them to add them on to a stock order. If they do this, usually their freight is covered with a large order. This is how I got my Cowl Hood for a good price and did not pay ANY shipping.

You are going to Love it. I have my 2008 Silverado HD CC LTZ for 3 months now, and it is by far the best truck I have ever owned!! What interior trim level did you get? Do yourself a favor and go to the dealer and pick up a set of the rear wheel well liners. They are easy to install and are not too expensive.

Thanks. I will check it out.

Outlaw and Tbyrne are BOTH down for the count!!!!
-
That is exactly what my buddy said. He said it is common. It just sucks that the truck only has 12K miles, but the warranty is shit. I should look into buying an extended warranty.
-
I might take you up on that. I will let it sit until the weather clears up. I will give you a call when I am ready. Thanks!!

I do not have a scan tool.

Actually it is the ABS module. I talked to a friend that is a Tech at a Chevy Dealer. He told me it sounds like a relay sticking and they sometimes do that. You cannont fix it. He said it is about $400.00 to replace. My truck only has 12,000 miles, but is out of warranty because it is 5 years old. He said I can unplug it and drive the truck. I will just not have ABS.
-
Just had the SS out for the first time in 3-4 months. As I am driving, the ABS light comes on. I stop the truck and have the key out, and I hear a loud buzzing noise coming from under the truck. It is under the driver side floor inside the framerail. It looks like a module that has something to do with the ABS system because there are brake lines running to it. The truck only has 12K miles on it. Anyone have this happen? I parked the truck and disconnected the battery and the buzzing stopped.

You would be missing an inlet on the front of the muffler.
-
I really do not think it is a bad truck or not capable of what it was built for, I just honestly think it could have been done to a run of the mill Silverado 4x4.
-
Thanks, I will check with my local Chevy parts guy on Monday.

PM me your email and I will send it to you.

Do you have a part number for the diff cover?
