Bryan tuned 2 of my trucks,(actually my SS 3 times) a friends '97 30th Anniv. SS Camaro, and 2 of Mario Andretti's Corvettes, including his new Z06. No problems with any of them. I say go for it. If you need an extra cushion, have him send you a new PCM that is tuned, and keep your original.

Thanks BigO. I just got the rears mounted tonight. I have a slight rubbing issue, so I need to do a bit of trimming on the inside of the fender lip. Sorry for the bad pic.

This was my first car too. My dad bought it for me in September of '82.

I like the '56 Nomad the best. The Black GT looks like it is flat black, very srealthy looking without the stripes.

Just finished putting the hood on. I found the receipt from the Chevy Dealer I bought the hood from. I had it sitting around since August of 1993!!!!!

Only if you run your wipers with the hood open....

I never did a headliner, just seats. The fronts are a bit more complicated because they are 2 piece and have different hardware that needs to be removed and re-installed. The rear seat is just a matter of taking it out of the car, removing the old covers by cutting the Hog Rings that hold it to the frame, and if your original foam is in good shape it can be re-used. I did my rear upper and lower today in less than 2 hours. One of the tricks is to do it in the sun so you can stretch the new covers in place and re-clip them onto the frame.

Added Rear SS sway Bar, Gas Shocks and upgraded the front Swaybar with a WS6 Trans Am 1 1/4" with Poly Bushings. This was all done about 18-20 years ago. I just got motivated to get it in better shape than it has been so I spent some time today doing the rear seat, a New GM OEM NOS Grill and Grill Emblem, and will be installing the hood a bit later today. My goal is to have it painted, new top, rebuilt trans, rear gears and wheels and tires by next Spring/Summer as time and cash allows. I actually have new tires ordered for it. 275/60/15 and 245/60/15 BFG Radial T/A's. I also have a set of Am Rac. TTO Original Torque Thrust Wheels for these tires to go on, but I had a hard time finding the front 15x7's. The rear 15 x 8's are mounted and balanced, and I found a set of 15x7's at Summit Racing. Hopefully they will be here this week. I was going to go with the 17" Torque Thrust II's, but I think the TTO's look better for this type or car. It gives it a Yenko type look. Anyone care to photoshop the wheels on the gold car onto mine for me?

I guess you didnt look at any of the interior pictures. This car is all original except for a re-paint and I swapped the Bench seat for the Buckets and console. The Chrome is all original as well. How can you think that the engine is the ONLY thing in Great Condition for a 35 year old car? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol, its a great car, love to have it, ive got a wierd way of saying things when im half asleep. Actually it is a '72.

The car will be re-painted the same color. It is the original color and the engine, trans and rear are all numbers matching, so they will not be changed either.

In the process of updating some things on the car. I am thinking about the American Racing Torque Thrust II's in 17", then some paint, a new top, Gears and trans Re-build with Stall converter. I have owned this car for almost 24 years. I have a pile of new GM parts for it including a Super Sport "Domed" hood and all Chrome trim in the wrappers. Going for the Look and stance of the Black car. Just bought this on ebay too...

My truck only has 11K miles and never goes out in the rain or snow. Needless to say, thay are still perfect. If you prep the surface properly, they should stay on forever.

Sorry for not answering the PM, I have been wicked busy lately. Those are the same ones I have. I bought original GM ones at a swap meet. They had the pins and tape, so I cut of the pins and taped them on.

Not bad at all. Make sure if you do this type of set-up that you use an X-pipe. It is deafening without one!!! Exterior sound is awesome!!

I have the 285/55's on my HD. I dont think I would put this tire on an SS, but that is just me.

I might have a friend that is interested, but with 5 posts and no history he might be a bit hesitant to send you that kind of money.
