  1. Next we will see you have it listed on ebay. When do you pick it up?
  2. I just gave it a couple palm shots and yanked it off. It worked for both trucks. I had a wheel puller, but didn't have the special J hoks for the GM Steering wheels, so I ordered them and now I have them for next time. The important part of this install is giving the airbag time to discharge before removing it from the truck.
  3. I actually did both of mine without wheel pullers. It took longer to wait the 15 minutes for the airbag to discharge once the battery is disconnected than it did to change the wheel!!
  4. That is the same one I put in my Silverado Crew Cab. I did this one in the SS...
  5. Another in PA for $15,500.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet-S...1QQcmdZViewItem
  6. Where are these people coming from? Everyone wants an SS for under $20K. They are out there, but they will be rebuilt wrecks or very high miles. The '04 with 27K listed for $22K is about the lowest you are going to find. Especially if you want a clean low mileage one.
  7. I am running the 285/45's because I like the way they fill the fenders on a lowered truck compared to a 305/40. I don't think the 305's are too big for a 9.5" wheel, just a personal preference. I was running a 305/50/20 on a 10" when I had the Konig's and did not have any problems.
  8. Toyos Proxes S/T My Proxes S/T's 285/45/22 Nittos NT420S NT404 Or for all out good looks...The BFG G-Force KDW. These are not M&S rated. Krambo has these on his truck now.
  9. Below 20K miles or below 20K Dollars? Here is one in Texas for under $20K http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet-S...022977147QQrdZ1
  10. Where are you located? I have a New Set of Hotchkis Bars, but I do not want to ship them. I also have the shorter rear links for a lowered truck with them. I am in Eastern PA.
  11. Those are not dust covers, I believe it is the main wheel and the part that is chrome is a spinner.
  12. Here is one in PA for $15,000.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet-S...1QQcmdZViewItem
  13. Just another newb with a 2 tone truck!!
  14. Here is his e-mail.... If interested do not PM me on the forum I cant get into the SilveradoSS forum from my home for some reason. So please if interested email me at: [email protected] Thanks, shopman1 Cool Products for Cool People
  15. I'm sorry, but there is no reason for him to tell you he cannot do bigger than 2.25 other than thefact that he had a 2.25" muffler in stock and wanted to unload it on you!!. I would take that POS sysstem back to him and demand a refund. Even if it was 2.5", the workmanship on bending those pipes is terrible. Print these and show them to him.....They are 2.5" and room for more.
  16. I know its not on your list, but what abouta 2007 Escalade EXT? 6.2L 400+HP, All the luxury. I would.
  17. I got mine in the mail today too, and I was also missing 1 of the Jamb nuts. I e-mailed the guy I got them from on ebay, and he said it was a packaging error on the part of the manufacturer. Luckily, I ordered 2 and I stole the Jamb Nut from the second one, so I have mine installed on my 2500HD. When I get the 2 nuts he owes me, I will install the other on the SS.
  18. Holy Quintuple Quadruple post Batman!!!!! Anyone know if the Ebay ones are OEM.....Quick....before he asks again!!!!
  19. My Forged 22" Centerlines with tire are 77 Lbs., so it sounds a little light to me.
  20. Actually the report is wrong. It says 2000 Escalade, but the VIN is for a 2002. The 8th number from the left is the last digit of the year of the vehicle. 2 for a 2002, 3 for a 2003 etc. Something sounds a bit fishy about this police report. Maybe it was his uncle or cousin that wrote it. Does the VIN match the one on the Title?
  21. To deep dish for a muscle car??? What kind of drugs are you on? Better question, where can I get some too??? Hot rodders have been reverse offsetting their rims since the 40's-50's!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And the funny thing about it is now the hip thing to do is have "Staggered" wheels and tires!!! Wider in the Rear with a biger lip!!!!! Like he said this is nothing new.. it is the same as before, the terms are just different. An ex of mine had a 72 Challenger, and it had 15 x 7's in the front and 15 x 8 "Reverse" in the rear. This was 20 years ago!!
  22. Bryan tuned 2 of my trucks,(actually my SS 3 times) a friends '97 30th Anniv. SS Camaro, and 2 of Mario Andretti's Corvettes, including his new Z06. No problems with any of them. I say go for it. If you need an extra cushion, have him send you a new PCM that is tuned, and keep your original.
  23. Thanks BigO. I just got the rears mounted tonight. I have a slight rubbing issue, so I need to do a bit of trimming on the inside of the fender lip. Sorry for the bad pic.
