I woke up and turned on the television just minutes after the first plane hit the first tower. I didn't know what was going on but as I changed the channels and noticed that every channel was showing the same thing I realized that something was wrong. My sister called me wanting to know what was going on, I still didn't know myself what was going on. As we were talking we saw the second airplane hit the tower and then later saw them collapse. UTSA cancelled classes that day. Sad times.

Does someone on here drive a Red SS in Tucson? Parks it at two hour parking on swan and golf links.... Just wondering...

I drink monster, but the coffe one. it's freakin' good!! Just don't drink it if you are going to be out in the heat and have not hydrated well. It will dry you up fast.

yeah, my son was in his car seat in the middle of the back seat. He was really well tied down. I think that the car seat itself also played a big part. we bought him him a Britax car seat, it was like 300 bucks. well worth the money. crash tested at 120 mph!! not that i travel that fast with my son in the truck but it's built tough. even the TPD officer said that it was one of the best in the market. As far as my neck, it's ok. My back kind of hurts if sit for too long. My mom is fine now. she just feels a little soar from the seat belt.

Well, the shop that I took it to has a good background and many people here in Tucson recommended it. ( i wonder why?). As far as neck stiffnes, I was taken to the hospital after the the accident, so was my mom. The doctor said that my back and neck will hurt for a few days. My mom hurt her hip but she will be fine too. I initially called 911 for an ambulance to check my son and they ended up taking me. weird how things happen.

yeah. i was stopped about 20 feet from car one. he was also stopped at the red light but a minor intersection was between me and him. I got pushed 20 feet and then some. I don't think she ever let off the gas.

Well, here is the breakdown. There were five vehicles involved. A kia (1), me (2), Trail Blazer (3), Honda (4) and a Toyota (5). number 1 and 2 were at a full stop. 3 hit 2, causing 4 to hit 3 and 5 hit 4. Officer at the scene cited the trailblazer for following too close and driving too fast for the conditions (it was raining). the same citation was given to car 5.

Yup, Tucson, AZ. I now know that at least 99% of people her in Tucson can't drive. As far as the originator of the accident, it was the trail blazer. the trail blazer hit me without hitting the brakes. after she hit me, the honda hit her, which in turn made her hit me twice. The trail blazer and the last car, a toyota, were cited for the accident. it involved five cars. I will get the truck in the next few days here. i have to get back to kingsville, Texas on 9/15 so they are in a rush to fix it.

Well, after four years of good luck the bad luck starts. I got rear ended by some stupid driver biatch that was not paying attention to the road. She rear ended me going about 30 mph. Which in turn, pushed me forward across an intersection (cause she was still pressing the gas) and made me hit a car that was about 20 feet from me. So now my truck has front and rear damage. sucks... it's in the shop, about 7g's worth of damage that progressive (my insurance) is paying until they determine liability. Well, the lady doesn't want to claim liability. It has been a sad few days. This happened in Tucson too. I don't even live here. Sucks... pics are on my next post.

It always happens to me when the wife and kid are in the back seat. The wife looks at me and tells me, "you do it, you are sleeping in the dog house until further notice". So.... A few days in the dog house never hurt no body. No, i would never put my family in that kind of situation.

I am in kingsville, halfway in the middle of nowhere.

That sucks... Don't feel to bad though. The bad luck is going around this time of year. Last Thursday I drove into a pole, at about ten mph. My son distracted me while i was leaving a parking lot and "WHAM"... truck came to a stop. a three foot pole brought my truck to a stop... not a nice sight. My truck is at the Chevy dealership right now getting fixed. It's getting a new front bumper, left light and quarter light, front fender and everything that got bent under all that. It has been there since Tuesday. Progressive insurance got me a check to fix my truck on Friday morning at nine in the morning. And.. To add more pain to the whole thing the only car that was available to rent on Tuesday morning when I dropped off the truck was a cobalt... a very tiny cobalt. TINY! Try putting a car seat in the trunk.. not easy. Hopefully luck will do a 180, could use some good luck. oh, and Thursday was the first day of my vacation time from work.

Hey guys, Need some help. Everytime I open my extended cab door on the driver's side it rubs with the rear part of the cab. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Art

I have mine in the middle of the rear seat and i also use the latch system. It works. I put two towels folded up on the seat and then put the car seat base on top of the towels. I have not taken it off in eight months but it looks like it's ok. Also, it's not that hard to get to my little guy when he needs some attention. He can see me just by looking back and i can reach back and do whatever he needs. We have actually been thinking of getting another vehicle that would make it easier for the wife to put the car seat in. I have to admit, it's hard putting the seat in sometimes.

Well, before the wife and I had the baby we used to go to the movies often. We also used to go to the local park daily for walks and to play with our border collie. Now... We spend most of our time playing with the baby and getting movies from blockbuster.com Something I have always loved to watch on TV, and that the wife hates cause i don't listen to a word during those two hours is soccer. Mainly Mexican league soccer.

AHH! I had a cop here in Kingsville, TX tell me the same thing!! we exchanged a few words. He said he heard me "peel out". He was almost two blocks away! when it was all said and done, he let me go with a firm, "slow it down".
