  1. they have done this before, they did it to one of the dudes from that old show 90210. nice car, but come on...
  2. If it was a trooper, he probably needed to keep up with his stats. The troopers here have a stick up their ass. Those bastards pull me over all the time for doing a few miles over the speed limit, even gave me a ticket a few weeks ago. And, to make matters worse, he has the right to pull him over since he was going over the speed limit. Most of the time they will do it to search vehicles to look for money or drugs. big thing here in Texas. I am not a big fan of troopers here!
  3. Dang it! That guy is good. I guess that if i was a millionare i would hire him.
  4. Hey! Slow it down buddy! Just kidding... Mine shakes all over the place too. I got used to it. Doesn't seem like it's going anywhere.
  5. Don't worry, I'm sure your dad will be fine. My father had to go into open heart surgery on my senior year of high school. It sucked. I know your dad has one more to go, but, medicine and doctors are well trained and really know what they are doing. It has been ten years since my dad's surgery and he is doing better than ever. Your dad will be up on his feet and doing business as usual in no time and you will put the hard times behind you. I now cherish every chance i have to spend with my father because i don't want to feel the way i felt when he went into his surgery. Our prayers are with you and your family.
  6. i use the touchless carwash about twice a month (Yeah, I'm lazy sometimes, and sometimes I work too much). It's pretty good. As long as the truck is not too dirty it does a really good job. I don't use the gas station ones though, they suck.
  7. dang, it took me like 3 years to reach 100, I need to talk more...
  8. I have a radio shack one. it's good. it was about two bills and it's worth it. It's saved me plenty of times.
  9. i kept hearing squeking every once in a while, the truck has 40+ so i figured it probably needed pads... I know i should have checked them first but i just got excited thinking about working on the truck. I was going to paint the callipers too. I guess i can wait for while.
  10. damn those good driving habits! thanks of the reply.....
  11. ok, here's the deal. I bought some new pads for the ss. I took of the front wheels and the pads on the truck look as thick as the new ones. Here's the deal.. they have over 40,000 miles. What's the deal? do i change them, do I leave them? Why have they not worn out?
  12. those people suck.. mine was keyed once too. three years ago, still trying to get over it....
  13. Dont forget to check your: Gas tank intake manifold battery fender wells door panels seat cushions headliner dashboard blower motor ac vents passenger air bag compartment for a raised truck-bed floor....... yup...
  14. the wife wears her belt all the time, and so does the baby (he has no choice). I dont really wear it too much, we have to wear it at work because our life insurance requires it in order to get paid in an accident. Other than that i don't like to wear it. I was in an accident where if i would have had my seatl belt i probably would not be typing today.
  15. you should try putting your radio and lights control module under the factory radio. my ss had storage space there i figure your ss is the same. that would probably look clean. as fas as putting it in the middle, maybe not such a good idea. what if some day you are drinking your coke and it spills on your radio's buttons. big sticky mess.
  16. okay, here we go. 16 years old, got my first car, 1986 300zxt. I decided that i was going to do all the work my self. i had my handy manual and a few tools. I installed some new power steering hoses and it seemed that everything had gone well. I filled the power steering container with break fluid and drove the car for a few days until i noticed that my hoses and rack were leaking... bad... So, i learned to pay attention to what i poured from then on... still 16. Changed the brakes on my 300zx. did not pump the brakes to get pressure back in the system to be able to stop. Moved the car forward. Crashed into my parents garage because i could not stop. I still have the car, going on 12 years. I learned fast how not to do things. oh, and it also caught on fire ... but that was not my fault, it was recalled a few months after that. lesson learned, carry a fire extinguisher.
  17. mine was shaking after putting new tires. it was balancing. you should have it free for the life of the tires where you got it done.
  18. I would have to say subaru. Maybe it's because i like the way they look and the all wheel drive aspect. I would normally say to get american but with GM and Ford now leaving the US, I really don't care any more. My vote, Subaru STi
  19. I changed my major a few times... it sucked not knowing what to do. I got a criminal justice degree, do law enforcement now, love it!!
  20. nice, let us know. i might just get one. I showed it to my wife and she liked it. The tailgate is kind of heavy for her.
