The cd player in my blazer did this same exact thing for a while till it stopped working. I tried the cleaner stuff and nothing. Now when you put in a cd it just keeps trying to read it over and over and then says error on the screen and then ejects it. I just think of it as another GM thing.

Well it does sound like they are trying to make an example out of the lady, but at the same time she was throwing garbage out the window into the parking lot. If I was the person who had to clean up the parking lot all the time, I wouldn't like having to clean up someones discarded food items. Why couldn't she of just put it in the bag or just ask to not have lettuce on the burger when ordered? I also hate people who throw cigarette butts out the window, I thought this is what the ash tray in your car was for.

My dealer told me that was normail and that there was nothing that could be done.

I have a dell desktop and I guess its okay. I got the medea edition and watching tv on it was great, and I use to always set the recorder to record all my shows, which I never had any problems. Then one day when the computer was a year old, it crashed. I had to re-install everything (took all day) and once everything was back up, I wasn't able to get the meda to work anymore and every since I have not been able to watch tv at all on it, I keep getting all kinds of errors that the drives are not installed and other stuff that I can not remember right now. I also had a problem where the motherboard went and had to get a new of of them because I wasn't able to get one from anywhere else (dell makes them this way to keep you coming back to them). I also had very bad experience with their customer support. Now my computer is only 2 1/2 years old and the flat panel monitor just died on my sunday, so now I have to go out and buy a new monitor. It makes me sick that my 10yr old HP monitor still works like new and the dell flat panel is dead. I'm not sure what I'll do when it is time for a new computer, i'm not really all that impressed with any of the makers right now. Oh, and I also work in the computer field too.

Congrats man, thats great! If I were you, I would buy another SS and maybe pay off a big ticket item like a house, and then put the rest in the bank to invest for the future. Keep us posted.

It looks smaller then currently, and looks to sit lower to the ground. Oh, and no I don't like the looks of either the Chevy or GMC one. Like others, have to wait and see it in person. If I ever did tade my SS in on another chevy truck, would have to get a tahoe. Other wise, I'll be looking at different brands. Sorry GM, but you should of done better then this new gen.

That black one is sharp looking. I like the wheels on it and how it makes the entie car look sharp. That orange one is ugly as heck.

I ran into a 3 month old Dodge Charger.

Well for the first time in 13 years, I hit someone, there goes my perfect driving record. I was at a stop sign and there was one car in front of me, after he pulled out I looked to see if there was any on coming traffice and didn't see anything. So I pulled out and BANG, smashed right into the guy that was in front of me a few seconds earlier. I guess things could of been worse, no one was injured thank god. The only injury I suffer from is a bruse around my wrist from my watch. That also upset my poison ivy. Thank god the damage is all to the bumper and nothing else, well I did lose a couple of my grille inserts. I always thought how upset I would be if something were to ever happen to my SS, but after having to deal with some things that have happened in the past year, I'm okay because no one got hurt and and I'm still alive, things could of been much worse then what they were.

I just had mine in last week for a/c problems. Mine blows hot air when not moving and blows cool air when moving. They said all the freeon had leaked out of a bad hose, so they filled it up and ordered a new hose. Last year it blew hot damp air when not moving and then cold when moving above 40mph. After having it to the dealer 4 times and a couple weeks, they found something that was shorting out in the dash, don't remember what that was though.

I dont really drive my SS much in the rain, but it does sit outside all the time. I noticed a couple times some stains on the side of the drivers seat, just below where the seat belt comes out. Well anyways a couple weeks ago I spent 5 hours cleaning the entire truck and cleaned these stains off the side of the seat thinking I some how got stains there and just didn't remember. Well we ended up having rain none stop for like a week and when i washed the truck and drove it to work the next day, I noticed when I got out that the side of my seat had a stain that was about 2 feet in size and the drivers door panel and the back door panel was covered in this dry stain. I looked on the passenger side and seen little staining on the side of the passenger seat and some on the back panel door. The funny thing is that I could not find any of the carpet being wet. I can see that where the two doors come as one, right where the latch is at the top, I see the weather strip has a pinch in it, so I'm sure this is where I have water leaking. I was just curious to know if anyone else has had this problem and if the dealer was able to fix it with success. When I called the dealer last week to bring it in, the service guy started to act like he wanted to fight with me that I was making up this entire story. The service guy got even more pissed when I told him that my a/c isn't working AGAIN (took in 4 times last summer) and the broken power mirror switch is broken. I'm taking it in on Wednesday evening, but after the way he acted with me over the phone, I'm sort of scared to go in, I may end up punching the guy in the face. I got into a fight with him last summer when I took my ZR2 in for new brakes becaue I could hear them grinding and they said the brakes still had 70 to 80% life left, then when I took it in a couple weeks later for state inspection, I found out that all four roters and pads were gone. Sorry for the long rant, I guess I just want to know if anyone else has had this same leaking problem and if it was fixed just by changing the weather strip and if it came back latter.

I happen to know from my own personal experience that there is NOT a sensor for windows breakage.

Why is it to hard to turn the switch to the left to disable the auto feature?

Some cops are out to get anyone. When I got my first car I only had it for 6 days when I was involved in a accident. Some lady made a left turn in front of me at a light and I went right into the front side of her car and stopped at the back bumper, which came off. After my car was done smashing hers I slid through the light which turned yellow and then red, my car then stopped in front of someones parking lot. A cop was just a block up the road (passed him seconds before I hit the lady) looking for speeders, so he heard the accident and came to assist. The spot of the accident was in a different township so he called the cops for that township and waited till they got there. He was 100% on my side and when the other cops came he informed them what happened and left. Well the nice cop left and the cops of the proper township took over and treated me like I was some a** hole kid and was kind as heck to the lady I ran into. The cops then issued me a speeding ticket saying that I caused the accident and then also issued me a ticket for running a red light. I went in front of the judge a couple months latter (I was only 16 at the time) scared as hell and after my dad and I told the judge what had accured he said this was all ridiculous and throw away all charges.

Adding that little lip on the front bumper really sets it off, I think I'm going to call the chevy dealer and order myself one.
