  1. A few years ago my buddy wanted to go to walmart to pick up something while we were out and I lost ( I NEVER go to that store) and we went in. He picked up whatever it was he was getting and I picked up a can of carb cleaner and something else. At the check out he made it through the line just fine but I didn't. I was carded and had to sign something saying something about using the can of carb cleaner for what its made for. I was embarrassed about it all like I was a criminal while my buddy was at the front laughing his a$$ off.
  2. I like sticking with Maytag and Kenmore. I also do not get things with the digital controls, to much can go wrong with them. I just bought a nice stainless steal side by side fridge and was able to get a Maytag that wasn't all digital but has the water, ice and crushed ice dispenser in the door and it's awesome!
  3. I've had my Xtang on for 6yrs now and still no problems. Good luck.
  4. Sweet looking truck. What made you trade in the tahoe after such a short period of time? That was a nice truck as well. Oh, and welcome back.
  5. Hearing this pisses me off. One would think your car is safe in your own driveway while washing it. I know there have been times where I was washing mine and left the keys in the truck to go inside the door to get a glass of water or something. I don't do this anymore in fear of someone jumping in and taking it, but never thought it could actually happen. Man, I sure hope you find the SS in one piece. I've never seen one like that before, its pretty nice.
  6. I would see it, looks pretty neat. I like this kind of crap. Looks like it was already in the UK in 2009.
  7. I never could stand Jesse james.
  8. I think you are 7 days to late for April 1st. : ) I've never been in one, so I don't have any idea how they are. All I know is that they are ugly as heck. A uncle of mine has one and doesn't like it at all, said he wishes he kept his other car.

The local news showed people lined up at a local Apple store to buy these and the line of people wasn't much. I was expecting a mega long line of people for miles. Thinking it's going to be a flop, but time will tell.
  10. Congrats to the saler and to the buyer. Ignore the Toyota jokes. I still think 99% of the problems are just made up. I've been driving my Toyota for 3yrs now without any problems.
  11. LMFAO. Am I the only one who got what a grumpy was the first time around? Oh, and gym for me is what has helped with my back problems.
  12. The blue one: Nice, wish I could buy it, I've always wanted a blue one. The Clown SS: God, what the hell was the previous owner thinking when they destroyed that thing.
  13. I still have my factory stocks on, but I also have really low miles on my truck. The tires did pass state inspection last week but I doubt they will next year, they are pretty smooth looking and the one has a slow leak in it.
  14. This is all I do as well. Do the same with my SUV and also use the luggage rack to pull myself up onto the rear tires of my SUV to get the back half.
  15. Do the other projects need to be automotive related? If not, then my extra time is being spent on projects on the house. Currently stripping wallpaper in the 3rd bedroom and refinishing everything and painting to become my office. Just finished my master bedroom last week. The master was my very first project and it felt amazing when I finished things up to know that I did everything myself. I just had someone at the house today (family member) giving me a quote on doing stone walls and concrete drive and I can't wait to see the finished results. For years I always dreamed that having my own house would be fun but I was wrong, its freaking amazing!
  16. I think thats a couple years old, but it was still funny.
  17. I agree with brad, I don't find anything about this to be funny.
  18. Has anyone ever had any problems with rear speakers by the rear windows getting wet? Whenever my truck is covered in frost or is damp in the early morning, my right rear speaker by the back window just makes crackling sounds but is fine later in the day when the car has been dried off by the air and sun and will be fine again till the next morning if its wet or covered in frost. I'm thinking water is getting in the rear brake light but thought that if it was, that I would find dampness in the back somewhere on the floor. I've even covered the floor under the seat in white sheets of paper to see if I could see some water stains on that, but never have. It's a mystery.
  19. Keep checking back in the next few months to a year and maybe there will be another one.
  20. I had one burned out and forgot to change it before state inspection the other day. Hell, I forgot it was even burned out since it's been months since I last drove the thing. The dealer replaced it and charged me $9.99 labor and .48 cents for the bulb. What A Rip Off! They also replaced my one brake light bulb because they said it didn't light up, which could of been true. It actually does work, you just have to hit the light or fender to get it working. There is a short in the socket I guess. So the dealer charged me $9.99 for labor and $5 for the bulb. So I paid 25 bucks for two f'en light bulbs and the root of the problem with the brake light is still untouched. Oh well.
