I did this same thing with my 94 Blazer. The way those things were built, they all rotted away in the rear wheel wells and the entire rear finders. When I traded mine in in 2001 on a new Blazer, the body still looked like brand spanking new, the chevy dealer I traded in at was very impressed with how good of shape it was still in.

Not hating, just jealous of the new RAM 1500. I really like the new Ram and am considering getting one for myself. Good luck with the new truck and post pictures ASAP!!!

I really like the new RAM and I'm considering buying one for myself. A friend bought a new RAM Big Horn addition loaded with everything and I fell in love with it. I really liked driving that thing and the quality in it was a vast improvement over the previous model.

I would have to agree. The only guy episode I can recall is the guy who liked to dig for wet hair out of shower drains to sniff it.

I witch it but couldn't bring myself to seeing that episode, just the previews made me sick to the stomach.

Wow does this suck, I'm sorry to see this happen. I would be lost if it ever happened to me. Did you get things fixes yet with your insurance company or are they trying to screw you over on the value?

LOL. Now I don't feel so dumb. Every morning when I wake up I always look out the bedroom window to make sure the truck is still sitting in the driveway. I also get up sometimes during the night just to be safe. I have lights on all night long out in front of the house to keep things all lit up as a deterrent.

After work yesterday I had to make a few stops before going back to the house. My last stop of the day was to run into a store at the mall and the parking lot was pretty open, so I was able to park in the middle instead of way at the end (don't like people parking near my truck) and I also parked a couple rows over from where I normally do. I was only in the store for about 10 minutes and when I came out and walked to where I thought my truck was parked, it was gone. Panic started to kick in and as I was walking all over the parking lot not able to find my truck and the panic button on the key fob not sounding anything, I thought for sure my SS was stolen and I felt like I was about to puke my guts out in the mall parking lot till I see my truck a couple rows over, then I felt relieved . I was mad at myself and felt really dumb that I forgot where I parked but for a VERY long 40 seconds, I thought for sure I was never going to see the SS again. So I was just curious if anyone else has ever had that feeling before of their car/truck being stolen but finding you were in the wrong parking level or row like me.

Congrats man, it's always a good feeling to pay things off. I paid mine off 3yrs early killing myself but it was worth it in the end.

A couple summers ago I left the sunroof and windows all open in my DD one day and the skies opened up and flooded out my car. I spent a few hours using the shop vac and steam vac to suck up as much water I could and left the windows open and the smell never went away and I tried everything. Now in the summer time when its hot outside and if the car has been baking out in the sun, when I open the door to get into it, the smell almost knocks me out. : (

Thats pretty funny. I guess my question is why was she drinking if she's feeding a young one?

Last year I put 1,100 miles on it and so far I am up to 200 miles for this year. Yes the miles are pretty low. Maybe I should sell for a nice chunk of change?

OMG is that disgusting or what. I wasn't going to look at the pictures and now I wish I hadn't. I would of puked my guts out for hours and rinsed my mouth out with bleach a few times (don't actually try doing that).

I always wished the SS came in white. If it had, I would of gotten one.

I noticed in the before of the hood that there are water spots and the after show non. Where you able to feel the water spots with your finger before removing them? The hood and roof of my DD is covered in water spots and I can not feel them, nor can I get them out, so I was curious to know what magic you did to get yours out or maybe yours were just surface spots and mine are just etched into the paint, I dont know. : (

Sorry to hear, I would be pissed as well if this happened to me. Question. I don't understand why insurance will not cover the damages. I thought this was one reason, of many, that we pay so much a year on auto insurance.

So are you positively sure that his route home isn't the same as yours? I was followed home once a few years ago by a road raged jerk face. The guy tried to pass me up before 2 lanes merged into one but there wasn't enough room and he ended up off the road. Well, for the next 5 miles he kept riding my a$$ non stop and at red lights he kept giving me the finger and yelling at me. Of course I just kept laughing as I didn't do anything wrong and eventually he got separated from my rear bumper by a red light that I made and he didn't. I forgot about him till I turned onto a street leading to my house at that time and saw him shooting right through a stop sign and was right on my tail. By this time I couldn't go onto another street as I was on a dead end street. I have to admit, I was scared sh%$ less and called the police (I'm not the fighting type). A neighbor in their car chased them away and the police went after him but didn't find the jerk. I had the make, model and part of the licensed plate but they said they couldn't find the guy. So there is a way to locate people online with a license plate? If so, where and are there any fees?

I will not allow any of my cars to be towed on anything but a flat bed. I had the rear bumper destroyed by a tow truck years ago and the tow truck driver gave me $5 to cover the price of touch up paint when the bumper was totally gone. I had to fight with AAA for 2 months before I got it fixed.
