  1. I have 2 miniature pinschers nd they are very loyal, snuggly, lovable dogs but also very protective. I love them and recommed them to anyone.I alo have a siberian husky, she is a great dog but the first 4-5 years were very hard as these dogs are very stubborn, she is now 10 and is a very well behaved and loving dog but it was a hard road to his point.

  2. 24 hours, the Black SS train leaves DM. well its a short train, just one of us. anyway, we are making the 4 hour trip to see the progress, OR LACK there of, on my paint. then 2.5 hours down to PDB's to knock out some side work and hang with him and his Bro. From there the hour trip south to Brents. (pending time frame) I am hoping to be at PDBs' by 3ish, then to brents by 7ish.

    brent, plans tomorrow night?

If you need anything more let me know, Rich's truck is loaded and ready to rock, oils change, tires are aired up.

He should have them ready for you when you get here friday.

  4. Chris is referring to the shitty morning I had,as I was driving home from work(mids),I stopped at a stop sign on a long straight road and as I accelerated away at around 3/4 throttle,I saw the boost gauge hit 10psi(usually 14@wot)it shifted into second with a very loud bang!!!!!! Then I only had third gear and reverse,I ended up making it home with a little help (don't forget that bumper chris)and I think the trans is Fubar, what really sucks is it has les than 1000 miles on it.Looks like I might be doing the 4L85 conversion sooner than I thought. :cry2:

  5. brents gonna have some work cut out this week so that i can use his garage to do some work. otherwise we will be outside huddled around to keep me warm!!!

Brent, hows them new "brakes?" heheehhahahahahheheheheh!! I got a bumper for you, hmmm why you need that again?? :jester:

Oh there will be room, even if we have to push it out,but if we push it out it's gonna be a whole lot lighter,as in no drivetrain!!!

  6. More a fan of certain actors tan their charactors, but mine are these:

    Clint Eastwood

    Arnold Schwarzenegger

    Jason Statham

    Mel Gibson

and old Van Damme movies are always awesome.

Plus,I had to save the Best for last: Bruce Willis,Damn near every movie he has made has been BadAss,and he's never done all the sissy disney movies most actors gradate too late in thier career!!!

  7. Here are some pics of the prototype spacers, these still need some adjustment's made and are made of teflon not aluminum,we made them the same dimensions as the factory gaskets, which we found out were not the same as the ports (didn't match perfectly) these are basically exact replica's of those but we are improving the design for the final part,I just didn't want any turbulence from them(not sure if it matters but oh well). I also have pics of the prototype o-ring design, there are still some modifications to be made but at least you can get an idea what it will look like.

  8. yes longer bolts are needed, i used cap screws instead of bolts

the comp cams tensioner will have to be spaced out as well, i never measured my spacing because i used washers....i was in a hurry and didn't want to go back to work after 3 hours of developing the spacers but i should do that as well.

and the comp cams tensioner works very well in this set up for any one looking to get away from the stock spring tensioner. I measured the "pressure" of the stock tensioner with a torque wrench and it moved at 100 inch pounds so thats how i set the comp cams tensioner. At least for my NA set up, not sure how the FI would change this. I also used the larger 100mm idler pulleys from reichard racing. The tensioner pulley has the ribs in it for the belt and the idler pulley is the smooth one for the back side of the belt. Both pulleys needed a little machining to fit right on our trucks but looks cool and would give the FI guys more belt wrap as well. If any one is interested i could get some pics of it all as well. Pretty cool set up but machining is needed.

sorry for the spelling, i'm at work and typing as fast as i can...all of 10 words per minute!

    Brad

Can you post pcs of the pulleys? sounds interesting!
