Yes, I believe that is me. I was planning on doing a cam as well, but I decided to back off on that. So as of now it will just be a head swap. Still need to iron out what to do about the transmission (4l60e? 4l80e?, by who, what converter, etc).
I'm curious, would you happen to have a spring install tool? My heads were not assembled when I received them, all I've done so far is hammer on the valve seals. The springs still need to be put on.

Yes,the garage will be available,have you talked to zippy about it,I know he said he had a guys truck he was planning on working on but he never said who.If it's not you you should call him,if it is you then you are already scheduled to be done.

For sale,I have a lingenfelter GT2-3 cam and ZO6 springs I bought to install in my truck and never did,since I am doing a forged shortblock with a more radical cam I thought I might as well sell these. $350 for both + 3% paypal,already in the box and ready to ship.

the plan is Richy and i will be leavin the DMi Friday morning, pending the situation with WHISSLE we will either be headed up there which is 4 hours from here, and then down to you, 2.5 hours south. or if she isnt ready, we will head to your place and do some work that night and prepare for Saturday nights "festivities" at the slipery nipple! then maybe sunday we will head north so i can show Rich the truck and i can get some pics of it uncompleted. also i would like him to see some of the MTX plant and where it is.
too bad it will be sunday and i cant get him a tour, its an amazing place to see.
Do they have an outlet store there? That would be cool!

You could store it in the grey shelf that you park your truck next to.
That is definately one of my options,with a T.J. Turbo to keep it company.
More than likely the grey shelf (my 88 trans am GTA) will get the LQ9,but not until it gets a new forged rotating assembly!

Zippy will hook you up for sure,when it get's closer we will figure out which days we are doing what,too much could change between now and then.Usually saturday is the best turnout though.

My dad has one,he get's mad when I call it the Humble Bee. I ran him when I was stock and it wasn't even close,4-5 trucks easy.Now he won't line up with me,he just goes for a ride and says.....Holy Shiit!!

If your bored with your truck maybe you should have it bored.......and stroked......ya know maybe a 427 lsx,or how about you glass in a hot tub under the tonneau,with led lights and a pop up 65 inch plasma out of the gate so you can watch T.V. while relaxing in the hottub,and while your at it wire it for internet with touchscreen monitors,and hire a butler in a victory red suit to bring us beer and hot wings while we chill in the hot tub watching family guy.........Now that would be awesome!!!!
