Just me speaking here...but I think you guys get too wrapped around the axle in how things look.  Practicality should be the issue here.  A boost gauge not optimally placed for the road and the gauge view simultaneously (meaning pillar or possibly dash mount above the speedometer), is just flat out dangerous.  When I was in boost I was moving pretty damn quick - maybe not the case with you guys - so taking your eyes off of what you were doing to look up or down was/is just crazy - even for a split second.  The only time you really pay attention to boost is when it's peaked, or nearly so.  It is also your fastest time period.

 

Worried about "how it looks" is thinking like the guy with the ricer - that is all they care about.  You guys should put your proirity elsewhere.  If bling and snappy looks are your thing - then carry on.

Thats why my boost gauge has a recal function and a warning light to tell me when im at close to full boost. Plus I do have it mounted in my A-pillar, makes it easy to track everything

Illeagals cannot apply to Universities, if you are not a legal resident you will not be admited, so that statement is false. Spanish is a legal dialect of the western U.S. The U.S. recognizes Spanish as a second language, so therefore most illeagals do speak the native language, as per the Treaty of Guadalupe Idalgo signed back in I-cant-remember -when. Know Just because Spanish is a leagal dialect, it does not mean that we should not learn English. In fact, I strongly believe that everyone should learn English. and by everyone I mean immigrants. As for boycotting school, students are doing it just to ditch school, because that is exactly one of the reason why the parents are boycoting today, and it is hipocritical as well as counterintuitive that they are fighting for the right to attend public schools, yet the students are ditching, and the parents supporting it.

 

I dont agree with the boycotte, nor do i agree that illegals should just be handed their resident status because they have been living here for a while. If they want to be citizens, they should not wave the _____ flag, but should wave the American flag. if htey want to be citizens, they should act like it.

I'm not arguing with you.. but when it says can take them from one side to the other is understandable because it would then rotate in the other dirrection. If you get them dismounted and flipped and switch the side of the truck the tire will still be rotating the same dirrection. How is the tire going to know if it's on one side or the other? and when they are all switched no one other than those you tell will know the tires are mounted differently than intended. Isee no reason why this couldn't be done. They shouldn't wear any different because they will still rotate in the correct dirrection. I also don't see a problem up front with steering because weather the tire goes right or left it's 50/50 right and left. The tire company doesn't care they just wanna make $$$.

 

 

The reason why some tires have an inside/outside to them is because, one side of the tread is designed to steer the vehicle, while the other is designed to accelerate/stop. so if he was to do what your saying jon, then, the part that is disigned to steer the truck will now accelerate it and vice versa. So it will create uneven loads on the tire and therfore wear/ride like crap.

 

This sounds weird in a truck tire but it makes perfect sense in a sport car. The best thing to do in this case is get new tires.

I love killing mustangs, there once was four guy in a 88-93 5.0 covertable that i killed.  They gave the driver all kinds of crap because they got beat by a truck.

I would love to race an SS in my Mustang LOL Actually, I don't beat up on the truck guys at all. Mostly just the rich pricks in Lambo's & Ferrari's, that think their cars are the end all be all's.

I see, I welded a new bong just below the drivers side front o2 sensor, so I didnt pull out any of the stock sensors. On the install instructions to LC-1 it say that you shouldnt mount the o2 senser post-cats wich is why i installed it where i did. Maybe i should have asked if it was safe to install it behind the turbo from the begining. So the cats will not affect the reading on the 02 sensor? I may have to relocate the o2 sensor now.

So is having the O2 before the cats a bad thing on a turboed truck. I can't have it after the turbo, i still have the stock cats on there.

I got the gt-67 as per turbos recomendations, and I am happy with it. as far a trany goes i have the TB TC as well as full shift kit and billet servos. For tunning i'm using EFI Live with an LC-1 wideband o2 sensor, i dont know how to tune yet but im learning.

I did a barrel style, air-to-water intercooler on my sts truck. the kit just bolted right in no mod what so ever to the system. I just had to remove the intake pipe that sits directly below the passanger door and intalled the barrel intercooler there. The cool thing about it is that it add almost no extra volume to the whole system and the intake air temps have not been over 100* under full boost.
