That Escalade drivetrain is great. I really like the new EXT.

Well firstly you have 6.0L motor in there LQ9 which has the 345 bhp. In 03 you could not get a Silverado with the LQ9. Also you have body cladding and colourmatched mirrors,handles,tailgate, front grill and the SS bumpers. You've got 20 inch rims thats are exclusive to the SS except for the suburban LTZ. Since you have an 03 it is awd which was not offered on any other silverado. Different suspension and brake package and some SS badging, which makes it different from the normal silverado.

I would but I'd have to find another ZO6 somehow. All those ones you posted are nice. I may end up picking one up out of the states. Because in Canada I think they are all sold out I just hate to pay the import GST bringing a car from the States. Your the opposite of my wife Color first, type of car later. I was pretty torn between black and red when picking the ZO6 though. I am pretty pissed with it. We also talked about getting me a discount for trading my escalade for an 07 one. They spent a good time on the computer and phone searching for one, I suggested importing one from the States but they don't seem too keen on it. Yeah, I know them letting me drive the yellow one until the red one shows up, is pretty unrealistic. I've been waiting for this call since December, another 4 months! With the dumbass sales people there I'll get the call and walk out to see a chevy aveo They said they were goign to have a hard time ordering it. They only got a few allocation spots. They said they might have the one I want in 4 months as this dealer is from a chain of Candian GM dealers, so I might get one, but by then it won't be summer crusin... Yeah, my dealer said there were about 20 people coming in to reserve one for next year. every dealer they called were sold out. Actually it is around $99.300 US, our dollar is about 10cents off now. Buying stuff in Canada is expensive I can't say I'm not tempted.

Just thinking about it, I would settle with them putting a supercharger on my SS. I also never cared for the yellow, if it was black then I might have taken it. I really want to drive the C6 Zo6 during the summer and not have to wait. I 'd love to drive it to Cali one day. My wife's brother lives down there, so if I do we can go for a ride.

I did mention it a while back, I was going to put my 03 ZO6 of sale when this one came in but that may have to wait. The yellow is nice, but I prefer red. I've always loved the Red vettes. I'm going back tomorrow to figure out what to do. I really wouldn't mind getting to drive the yellow one until the red one shows up. From the sounds of it the dealer said it might be another 4 months before they can get one the way I ordered it. I really don't want to miss this summer with the vette. Well the one I ordered is a red ZO6 red with black/red interior, Navigation and polished rims. I am a good customer of theirs and I got it for 3 grand over MSRP. The total cost including taxes will come to 111,549 Canadian. They are legally boud I have a 15K deposit on it and I expected my ZO6 in april, they are saying that they can't get the one I order for about 4 months unless they find a dealer who has one and can deal with them, but almost every dealer has sold out their ZO6 allocations.

Well I got a call from my dealer saying that my ZO6 had come in. I was so happy I took the rest of the day off and drove to the dealer. I tried to find the salesman I bought the car from, but apparently he wasn't working there anymore. Another salesman brings me to a back service lot and the first thing I notice is that the car is yellow and not red. I find out that the salesman screwed up when giving me the allocation spot and put me for a Yellow C6 ZO6 with 2LZ, black interior and the competition gray wheels instead of what I thought I was getting which was the Red C6 ZO6 2LZ red/black interior with polished wheels. I complained to the manager and they are debating whether to let me drive this yellow one until they can get the red one I ordered in. Anyways I took pictures of the ZO6 I own. They are bad quality and small as I dropped my cell phone one to many times. What would you guys do in this situation. I'm trying to get them to let me drive this one until the red one comes in, or give me a discount on the red one I ordered.

If I saw those protestors on the side of the road, I'd have a hard time restraining my self from running them all over. I love cowl hoods. For cowl I prefer goodmark over the reflexxions hood. The goodmark with the inlet is also very nice. Is the goodmark hood with the air scoop functional? If not I would go with a regular goodmark cowl.

I am not exactly sure, but at first glance (since im not an Audi pro) it looked like a brand new mercedes type of car...then again, i was pulling past it, and didnt see too much of it until later When I saw the backend, I noticed the Audi type styling. I dont think I have seen that type of Audi before .... and I see a lot of them around here. It looked brand new from what I could tell. What are their specs? 0-60, and 1/4mi time? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sounds like you ran a 03+ one, if it is a regular A8 0-60 in 6.1, 1/4 about mid 14s, A8L 0-60 6.3s mid high 14s for 1/4. A8 W12 0-60 5 sec.

Nice kill What generation of the A8 was it? Was it an A8 or A8L? The pre 04 were even with a stock SS and the new one should be a tad faster.
