[help needed. drive train went out.]

ok so I noticed on friday the truck started making a light and weird growl noice all the time. sounded like it was up front either transfer case or front diff. Tonight the truck went dead. Growl noise got loud and now the truck will not move at all. fluid in the tranny looks good. any advice as to what possibly could have gone south? and possible who might be a good shop near L.A.X I could tow the truck to get repaired.

Interstate MTP FTW. Ive had mine since '07 in the bitter NE cold and have never had an issue. Optimas are overrated IMO, had em in past vehicles and if it sat for 3+ days it would be dead. Can't beat Interstates warranty either.

I have to agree, next battery on the SSS will be an Interstate. Curently I have a Sears crappy diehard.

glad your pops got up when he heard them sons of biatches... I had my truck stolen 3 times within 18 months. Lojack found it every time with min. damage. I would love to stage my truck just to catch em and introduce them to my two friends Smith and his cousin Wesson. No my truck just sits in the back driveway covered up with the holidays here and thiefs being out at full force.

i had the di/do magnaflows. loved the tone HADED THE DRONE. I switched out to full LT's, high flow cats with sport corsa cat back exhaust. love the done NO MORE DRONE but has a crackling tone when I get on it. my future fis is gonna be a x-pipe.
