    I have a new in box GM interior front door panel for an SSS. Had the truck stolen a while back and they were gonna replace it for me. My old one was perfect other then the theives knocking off the screen to get access to my speakers. Looking to get $150 plus shipping. It brand new never installed. I pulled it out the box to look at it. Its for an 04. Does NOT have the cut out for the pedal adj.

    I use Mobil 1 on min. just have to remember that if you have any oil leaks Synthetic oil will leak even more. I never knew I had a leak until I switched over to Mobil 1. I think my rear main seal has a very small leak. If I let it sit for a couple days I will have a few drips on the ground and on the exhaust pipe cross-over. I hear people love RP but pricey.

    sorry I tried to search for the answer but could not find it. I have a 04 sss and recently it stopped blowing cold air if the truck is not moving and I can hear i wird sound coming from under the dash. Sounds like the actuator trying to move to the fully open position when I select full vents. If I select just off the vents and partially vents and foot vents it stops making the noice. I think the a/c freon might be part of the problem but how do I check the resistor on the flapper door? Is there a How-To?

    Won't be until I'm finished with it either. But you don't need to worry about that. You just enjoy your stock SS that looks the same as all the other ones.

     

    dude seriously take that attitude to another forum. the guy made a mistake and placed his post in the wrong spot. I guess you never Effed up... :chill:

     

     

    I have a K&n 77 serious and like it. I here the one with the plastic tube is the best of all the CAI.

    is there a how to and part #. my truck does the same thing. I turn on the a/c and I feel cool air coming when in traffic and I cant feel cold air until Im moving at speeds. At first I kept thinking it was the tranny cooler since its mounted in front but sounds like a resistor issue.

    I had a magnaflow in mine and loved the outside sound but just effen hated the drone. I switched out to a full Corsa cat back kit I got on e-bay new dirt cheap. Love the fact I have no more drone but the tone is not what I was hoping for. I really loved the way the magnaflow sounded. This exhaust has crackle tone to it vs a deep tone. Good luck. I have read that if you stay away from the y pipe end were it dumps into the exhaust tip it should cure some of the drone.

    well put Alan, it seems that so many people today are so damn entitled that it seems they have thrown common courtesy out the window, i mean why should someone go out of there way to help others or do something nice???

     

    the other day i pulled a Sam Jackson from the movie 187 coming down Town Center between Summerlin Library and Summerlin Prkwy, there is a cross walk so i stopped so the person could cross the road, well this stupid idiot behind me almost hits me and then lays on the horn @ me, i mean if they couldn't see the ass-end of a bright red fullsize truck, what would this lady have done to this poor guy trying to cross the road? I rarely get out of my truck for something along these lines because you never know who has a gun, but I had to give this broad a piece of my mind, I'm quite sure I called her a few words that would make a sailor cringe

    there have been times I wanted to get out myself and give them an ear full. Learned my lesson many years ago not too though. Had a guy pull a gun out as I swung the door open on my truck. F.T.P... and courtesy and common sense is out the window. People are too busy to try it.
