Ok so my brakes pulsate around 10mph for a quick second then go away. I have replaced the front hubs , rotors (where worn n warped) and did the YouTube abs module solder repair and still have the brake issue. Drove the truck around for a good mile and no abs light or code. But the damn pedal and pump pulsating between 10-8 mph. Should I just bite the bullet and replace the abs module or is there something I'm missing.

Trying to install my Pioneer Double din on My 04. Bought the harness adapter and wired it all up but found that my factory harness doesnt have a 12v ignition source and only a constant 12v source. The only way I can power up my stereo is to jumper the red to the yellow. Has anyone ran into this and what was your fix?

truck was stolen while back and they took the cover off and lost it when I recovered my truck. Now when it rains and water gets on there truck acts up. I need to get one soon and want to see if someone has one laying around.

I been runing some pacesetters for about 8 years with 0 issues. Mine came coated and they still look pretty good considering that I use the shit out of my truck.

pisses me off when I see SS parts on a single cab or fake SS because there is a good chance the parts were off a true SS and possible stolen at one point.

truck all of a suden decided to act up. truck will try and start in the on positon and headlight on all the time. If i move the key all the wa to start position it take a few cranks and then it starts. My head lights stay on all the time and only the head lights. please help as shes my daily driver right now.

damn sorry about the truck. I find myself to be very lucky as I have had mine stolen 5 timex and luckely fo rhave found it all together minus small items missing and usual ignition stuff. Lojack has paid off.

Looking for a drivers side mirror for my 04 SS. I broke the mirrior the other day. would preffer it to be black but for the right price any color would work.

lol 2BFAST ur truck on the flatbed reminds me of mine... man it sucked sitting there in the middle of the street in my baby. guy at the shop said my 4th gear was starting to show wear so he replaced it for me also since he was there. having the transfer case looked at and flushed since its due also for service.

We all understand what it is doing........time to troubleshoot. Did you do what I mentioned above? Also when you looked at the fluid, did you look at it on the dipstick? If so thats not really the best way to analyze fluid.You need to drop the pan and see whats in the bottom of it. You can perform the above while the pan is off as well.
sorry for not posting back. I had to drop off the truck at the shop. My only means of transportation since I just sold my 96 Impala SS... pump went out and took the torque converter with it. tnx for all the input 2BFAST. I will update once the final damage is accounted for.

Try this, pry off the shifter cable from the lever. Manually put the trans in forward range then try to spin the driveshaft by hand. You will need to have the truck in the air front and rear of course
right now with the truck in gear on the ground I can push the truck fwd and back. like if it was not even in gear, more like neutral. tnx for all the input 2BFAST.

is there a way I can check that? or do I have to pull the transfer case and tranny either way.

ok craweld under the truck while it was idling. seems to be coming from the tail shaft section of the tranny were it bolts up to the transfer case. so at least its not the front diff. now to try and pin point which one it is. seems to me it would be the transfer case. either way it could not have come at a worst time... any input guys would be help full.

Wait, it's growling in park when you start it?
yup... all the time. I put it in gear and no change and will not move. I can push it while in gear.
Is it a whine that changes with engine RPM in park, or a growl?

thanks guys. Not sure what it is. the truck just coasted to a stop. I turn on the truck and all I hear is this loud grouwl coming from the front section of the truck. I have not pinned point it to anything, thats my major proplem also, not sure what exactly it is. That way I know were to take it. this sucks major balls.
