look .. im in for sure. i dont know where are around Frank's place to go, but I know the Joliet, IL Hooters is in the Mall parking lot, so lots of room to move around, plus the mall circular drive for tunings..and who can beat hooters wings eh??? and I55 is right there too for a fast run down the highway. if we wanted to meet there i guess i could call the manager of hooters to see if we can special seating or something??

my local dealer said my mirror was not repairable (its heater was not working).. they said cuz its 'glass' my warranty doesnt cover it

what will they buy a 2003 AWD SSS with 56000 miles on it?

my 2003 just blew thru the rear brakes at 55000 miles. fronts are only 1/2 worn. if i had the money, id do baer brakes.

best for last... i just cleaned the connectors, and re installed the mirror.. and it works now!! WTF

geee.. when GM called the dealer, the tech was not available to talk. I have the mirror in my hand right now, and would love to shove it in his face.. i mean.. the epoxy cant come off the glas.. WTF

first off GM customer service tells me that dealers can charge you for a diag fee if they wish (and if your vehicle is not under the original warranty). still checking on the mirror.

thanks im gonna call them as soon as im done with lunch. im basically gonna tell em that a dealer's service dept has been teating me badly and i want to know if this part is covered by warranty. i may even get my diagnostic fee refunded LOL

do you have major guard? thats my dealer's trump card. its "glass" so its not covered. they didnt even remove the fooking thing from the housing.. the heater is IN the mirror..

i just placed an order with gmparts direct.com my dealer said the part was over 250 bucks .. at least on the invoice to do the work, which I declined. 145 bucks from gmpartsdirect plus 33 for shipping. i dont know how fast they get here though.

Seperate from the glass? How can that be? The glass is one piece w/ the heater element and blinker built in. Sound like they are fuk'in w/ you. i agree.. they are saying major guard doesnt cover it cuz its 'glass'.. WTF the old dealer i used to use replaced my cats, and thats not covered by major guard.. you show me how the heater is coming away from the glass!!
