  1. I got to hear this thing leave the convention center yesterday as I was helping take down our booth and all I can say is it shook the entire place as it left!
  2. That explains why the rotors I put on Michaels Andretti's Denali had to be replaced . they were starting to stress crack at the holes. The thing would need new pads every 10K miles or less!!! I guess he pushed it a little hard! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I currently have a rear rotor that cracked from baer and Chase had both of his do it at seperate times and all were covered by baer. Also I am very hard on my brakes so they see much more than normal use and I am due for a complete set of pads. They might have 10k on them but the stoping power makes it all worth it IMO
  3. It sounds like they might have started the nut to put the new spindles on but forgot to tighten one or possibly more and this one came apart. I would have the dealer check over the rest of the truck if you are not mechanically inclined or have the tools to do so your self. It actually kinda sounds like the tie rod end for the steering if you say the wheel turned on it's own or didn't turn when the other was turned. Either way thats not good and I would make damn sure you give all repair receipts to the shop who did the work and atleast get refunded those costs, then never go there again.
  4. Umm yeah I'm neutral on this one. It is messed up to laugh at the handicapped but then again he does look happy!
  5. Yes don't remove those! Romove the hex head bolts that hold the caliper/bracket to the spindle.
  6. LOL what a dick, my reman trans still shifts hard even without the servos.
  7. Thanks I was hoping to find something a little better but this info works for now.
  8. When we have to ship our race vehicles to a show or like Bosch, GM or who ever we use Reliable transportation and they always have something cool to see on the truck. Well this time they were delivering a Bugatti to a potential customer so he could test drive this 1.2+ milion dollar car. I wish I had the time to get some pic of this thing on the trailer but it was by far the baddest exotic car I have ever seen. Here are some pics of what the car looks like if your not familiar with it.
  9. Well I was just on my way home from my girl friends house when I pulled up behind a car at a stop light and I didn't think anything of it untill the light turned green and the car didn't move. Well I then noticed there were four punks (literally) in this car the guy in the back had a mowhawk and the chick had some funky hair. Well I guess they thought they were being funny so I sat there untill they decided to go so I went and then they decided to show me how their brakes worked No match for the 6 piston 15's. So I decided two can play at this game! After they let off the brakes I nailed it and got in the next lane and got right infront of them and nailed my brakes They ended up sliding two lanes over They then decided to honk as they pulled up to the next light which I glady waved with one finger and they started yelling but I was already going to mae a right so I nailed it and put the VHO into a nice little slide around the corner just because I was pissed. I hope they realized their little sh!t box was no match for much of anything on the road.
  10. Hey Jon, I think Wilson Manifolds makes one. Wilson Manifolds <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks but those still look like they use a cable.
  11. Who makes a larger LS1 style (3 bolt) fly by wire throttle body or does any one? I thought someone made like an 85mm but all I can find are cable controlled throttle bodies. I am looking to make an adapter plate for a larger throttle body for the L76 intake because I have yet to see someone properly make a 90mm LS2 throttle body work. Now my question is has anyone figured out why the LS2 won't fully open on an LS1 style ecu? Is it the TPS sensor having different values? If so could the LS1 TPS be swapped onto an LS2 throttle body to make it open completely? I would assume the same action happends as far as how many degrees the blade moves from closed to 100% or WOT, so this just leads me to believe the TPS sensors are getting or giving the ecu slightly different readings.
  12. What did you do with that POS? I would have set fire to it infront of them
  13. Same here, got mine today. Not sure what I want to do with it other than look at it, but I got it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have been doing a lot of the same!
  14. Well better late than never but the intake manifold showed up today!!! $239
  15. I believe I have this same problem my pedal is so loose it's not even funny, it sounds like it's going to fall off.
  16. Well IMO mild steel is a bad Idea weather you paint/coat it or not because 90% of the rust is going to happen on the inside anyways. This is the whole reason OEM went to stainless even though it costs more. Why do you have both of your o2 sensors infront of the cat on the one side? EDIT: Nevermind I see the other one is the wideband o2 i'm guessing the other one that goes behind the cat just can't be seen in the pics!
  17. It's because they paint over the rearend once it has already rusted.
  18. If you look you should have a fuse labled 4x4 and it has power there and isn't used for anything in our trucks, I used this because it's "free power" that isn't interfering with anything.
  19. my balls hurt.... literally... the doctor gave me vicodin <{POST_SNAPBACK}> did you get a vasectomy? or did you just go for the full out castration? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They gave him vicodin for his itch
  20. If your doing spindles and keys remove the stock spindles and then do the keys then install the new spindles.
  21. Yeah my first trans in my 04 SS broke the input shaft and the converter wouldn't even come out no matter what they tried so I got a reman and went through 3 of them before trading in the truck. The last trans in the 05 VHO broke the output shaft. GM really needs to step up these transmissions atleast the reman trans so you get something better than you had rather than something worse.
