  1. One question, if you live in Cali, why do you remove your 22's? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't He's just weird like that
  2. At least it's here and not in the picture section without pics!
  3. Even as nice as a guy as Nick is he doesn't know it all!!! It took some talking to show him that it did exist and I had to have the code B4V for him to put in the computer to make my point that there is such thing as a VHO before it was labled as the vortech max. The guy at the dealer who took me for a test drive in the SS (not Nick) told me it was supercharged I was like umm no it's not! He said yes it is I swear on it, so I had him stop the truck right then and there and open the hood where I pointed out that it was not supercharged.
  4. From what I can remember they don't come with instructions because it's just like installing the stock brakes.
  5. I would have to say 21,600 sounds like a very fair price if it is in any kind of decent shape. I got mine new out the door with everything yours has plus leather and heated seats for $37,500
  6. Go to photobucket.com and you can host pictures there. then open the picture to it's fullsize in photobucket right click and copy the URL then in the post here in sss.com hit the img tab and paste the url thats it.
  7. That's a lot spent on those spindles! I paid 199.99 + tax for the Belltech front spindles at 4-Wheel Parts. I haven't installed mine yet. I guess I will be needing to have them painted before I install them. I'm thinking black, but I may do a bright red to compliment the Baer Brake Calipers. My truck is silverbirch. What do you guys think? Jim <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wouldn't because they will look like crap in a week.
  8. I can't say for sure but I don't think the front diff is any kind of locker or limited slip at all it's just an open style diff. If this is the case there should be no problem with synthetic at all. Some lockers or limited slip diffs aren't compatible with synthetic gear oil because it will cause too much slip in the clutches and cause more wear reducing the life of the diff.
  9. Put the stock shocks back in it and leave it alone. If your stock shocks are in need of replacing get a new set of stock shocks and put them in, it will ride fine.
  10. I did the same as I do on all my vehicles I have ever owned 5% all the way around minus the windshield.
  11. Wow man it looks like it's comming a long since the last pics you posted a long time ago. Wanna come help me finish up fitting the front end on my 65 Chevelle/Malibu SS? EDIT: BTW I know a lot of people don't like the Edelbrock carbs for what reason I dunno but I have had some Holly carbs and they are so tempermental I don't understand why anyone would wanna screw with it when you can damn near drop on the Edelbrock and go with out messin to much with it.
  12. That button on the right hand side you are talking about isn't for traction controll! That is Stabilitrack it has to do with the shocks/suspention.
  13. Nice lawn. It doesn't get any greener than that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But it must suck to mow that!
  14. Just put it on the ground then tighten them. What would be the difference to have the rearend on a jack and then put it on the ground? None other than I guess you could sit up and tighten them rather than lay down
  15. Hell yeah to that one! I took one of the guys at work with me to pick up some lunch and the street I was making a left on i busy and I am the only one with a stop sign so I waited untill I had a semi 50 yards or so away comming from the right and a pack of cars comming from the left about the same distance in the other dirrection! I said alright hold on!!! Got the VHO sideways strightened it out and kept on going with room to spare! He was like "HOLY SHIT!!!" It was more of a holy shit this thing moves rather than a holy shit don't do that. Then I hit the brakes way later than most would and again he goes DAMN! I think he was supprised a fullsize could accelerate and decelerate at such a rapid rate!

I figured it was you but wasn't sure how that happened.
