How can I get two more inches of drop in the rear? I already have a 2" drop with hangers.

Where should I be shifting for maximum power? Mods are listed in my sig. Currently, I shift at 5900 for both 1-2 and 2-3 shifts and then i pull through the finish line at only about 5000 rpm. This doesn't seem right to me. Any ideas out there?

Yes, I have looked into Centerline but I don't want to spend that much money and I don't want to buy 20 inch tires all the time. As far as tying down the front, how do I go about doing that?

You're right Zippy, I have no idea but it hasn't done it since so I like to think that I fixed it. I have been trying to launch at a lower RPM but I am just used to stalling it that much. I will keep trying. In the past, when I have launched at a lower RPM by mistake, i noticed that it didn't have the same 60' time but that could have been due to something else. BTW, what is VSS?

What would happen if I were to put 16x8's on the front and 16x10's on the rear? Would that screw with the AWD? Just a thought since this is a drag truck only. The skinnier the better up front.

The front is done with torsion keys. The 16x10's weigh a little more and the goal here is to go with less weight. Will the wider tire really matter all that much?

Thanks! Is it ok to not change anything if I'm not concerned with the speedo being correct? Also, yes I do have HP Tuners and I run in OL/SD all the time. What changes occur in the trans parameters?

Mine is not an up-shift issue. Mine lainched off the converter (stalled to about 2800) in third gear. I think I figured it out though. This has happened to several other GTO owners that I race with and on the HP Tuners forum, there was a fix for this in the tune. It has to do with MAP at WOT in relation to TPS. I will find the link and post it. Mine has been fine since I did this.

Hey all, I'm going with some 16" wheels for racing. Which would fit the best, 16x8 or 16x10? I have stock brakes and a I hav a 2/2 drop. TIA...

I am going to be putting smaller wheels on my truck soon (16 inch) and the overall diameter should be a bit shorter. What do I need to change in the tune?
