  1. This is the only pic I have. I have been around this car a lot and I can vouch for its condition and cleansliness.

Is the air really that bad up there??? I am going to be racing at Top Gun in Fallon in Late September and I sure hope I don't lose a second and a half to DA. That seems unlikely as I have raced in 6000+ feet before and only lost a couple of tenths.
  4. 99 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. It has a stock LS1 engine, Automatic trans (rebuilt when converter went in 2 years ago), Hughes 2500 stall converter, 3:73 gears, Eaton Posi, Edlebrock adustable torque arm, Flowmaster exhaust, Hypertech power programmer. Will run 13.00's to 13.30's in the heat. More left in it playing with the programmer. Body is straight, paint is great, interior is great, car needs nothing. Car has only 84,000 original miles on it. We have only put a few thousand miles on it in the last few years. It drives 2 miles to work occasionally and then back in the garage until race day then drives to the track. PM me and I can put you in contact with the seller. $8000 takes it!
  5. LOL Thanks Dave! I know it's a lot but the track started a contingency program this year so when I win (which I have 4 times there this year) I actually get paid something from most of those so it's kind of a requirement to have them on there.
  6. I had to disconnect my battery during racing eliminations the other day to try and fix a loose connection and after I started it back up, it didn't want to run at first. After a couple of seconds the idle smoothed out and it ran fine. Then on my next run, I lost some ET. My question is does disconnecting the battery fool with the PCM any and should I reload my tune now? Also, does someone make a battery cable kit to change over to a different type of terminal? TIA...
  7. Well, this is one..."I did a lot of transmission upgrades on the stock engine." Just a miscommunication most likely due to cell phone reception. "...won the event by ten points." I won the championship by ten points, not the event. Again, a miscommunication most likely. That's all really. I am still very happy with the story and very excited that they did such a great story on me.
  8. I picked up K&N as a sponsor this year and since I recently won the sportsman track championship at AAA Dragway at California Speedway, they decided to do a story on their website about me. Some of my quotes about the truck are a little off due to some miscommunication but it is still a pretty cool story and some great press for the SSS! I am very grateful to have K&N as a sponsor and their products are the best on the market! Link
  9. do you know how much the wheel and tire combo weighs (each wheel)?
  10. My wheels and tires (see sig pic) for anything smaller and lighter (no stockers...those are heavy). The wheels are 22" American Racing and the tires are Sumitomo. Tires are in good condition with good tread just a little old.
  11. I'm waiting for the drag race edition. They ran two of them in Denver a couple of weeks ago and at in the extremely high altitude they each ran in the 11's right off the show room floor.
  12. Sponsors are indeed not very easy to get but they are possible depending on what you're trying to get. I have gotten a couple of them but only because I race only and have had some success at it. With just a stock daily driver, I would say that sponsorship is pretty difficult to get. The important thing to remember when inquiring with companies is what return you can offer on their investment. Good luck!
  13. Are you willing to trade for some black 22's?
  14. The tread is decent but they are cracking slightly due to their age. The wheels are American Racing but I can't remember the model number. They are in great condition and are a good looking wheel IMO.
  15. Do you have part number for any of these items? I am looking at installing my cam over the winter some time (Comp 236/238, .601/.605, 113)
  16. Do you know what those wheels weigh? Also are you interested in a trade for my American Racing 22's? If your wheels are lighter, I am very interested and I'm local. Let me know.
  17. Dale, I'm assuming you have removed ALL torque management from the tune correct? If not, you need to do that. If you have, it is most likely false KR. I was getting that like crazy and it was driving me nuts too. I finally turned the sensitivety on the sensors waaaaaaaaaaaay down and now it is deadly consitent all day long. Was there any tire spin on the second pass or any pass where you slowed down? Try tuning the MAF or going to open loop speed density with no MAF. I recently went to OLSD without the MAF and my consistency is absolutely crazy outstanding. I mean sometimes within .001 of a second at every incremental. And, don't foget about your trans temp. A hot trans will make the converter slow to react which will hurt reaction times and ET.
  18. Will an X-pipe help my application on the track? I am thinking of getting one if it will do me any good.
  19. How much you lift doesn't matter. It's all abouts reps, reps, and more reps!
  20. Alright, everybody simmer down before this gets out of hand! I just created a pool workout that involves a beach ball and it is working great so far (not going to share any details because I am thinking of marketing it). I feel that total body workouts and overall strengthening are your best bet unless you want to be a ripped out muscle head (which is fine if that's what you want). When I hit the gym instead of the pool, I do 30 minutes of cardio followed by a fast paced aerobic weight lifting regiment that includes working the whole body. Do that with a balanced diet and you'll be stronger and in shape in no time (IMO).
