  1. Congrats ... And welcome to the club!!!! BTW ... get your checkbook ready, if your going to hang around this site .... For all the Mods your going to want to do to it!!!!
  2. It has the hole just installed one about a week ago. Yup ...
  3. Yeah ... You ever notice that we will beat you with batons, spray you with OC/Mace, wrestle you to the ground with armbar manuvers and crank on the cuffs, pick you up and slam you onto the cruiser, ... but when we put you into the back of the car, it is like "Watch your head"!!! I heard a comiedian say that once and nearly pissed myself laughing ...
  4. Oink Oink too that!!!! Yeah ... Rumor has it that the Crown Vic is going bye bye. I don't know what Ford will replace it with. The impala's do have more "Leg Room" than the Vic. I believe it to be the Cage that they put in. The vic's cage was only about 6-8" from the rear seat, due to the seat position. The Impala's have about 12-14", and it seems that they are made out of thinner metal than the old school vic cages.
  5. Now that was Funny!!!! Congrats on # 1000 ..... Thanks for the Freebie!!!!
  6. in Jamaica, when I stayed at Couples, I never had to leave the all inclusive resort. they have nightly entertainment, a few resteraunts, snorklinig, scuba diving, sunset cruises, massages, etc., etc. and there are no children and a clothing optional beach. The water is awesome there for snorkling and scuba. Cancun is not my first pick for an all inclusive vacation location, but it is very nice. Good to know ... Thanks... Yeah, I've done Cancun and it was OK. That was back a few years in my single days, But we had a blast. Well we decided on the Sandals Royal Bahamiam. This was mostley in part to travel times. St. Lucia had horendous flights, a few red-eyes along with 6-8 hr. lay-overs. Bahamas is only 2 planes, and about 5.5 hrs. of total travel time. We are going Oct. 5th - 12th. BTW - we booked the Manor Luxury Oceanfront Concierge Room. Should be nice. I will let you all know how good it was. Thanks again for your input.
  7. Well, It seems that the Massachusetts State Police have gone and got a few to try out. For all of us LE boys on the site, this is pretty sweet!!!!

Do we want a Meeting Spot??? That way we can all "Roll In", in style?!?!?!?

  16. Have you seen the new '07 models ... they have a torsion bar in the tailgate ... It is for "Easy Closing". It puts a load on the torsion bar when you lower the tailgate, then it assists you, when you raise it. Keep us posted on how it works RaySS!!!!
  17. Hey Pladd I'm leaning towards the September date ... It will be a bit cooler. As we talked about last night ... I can bring a couple of small grills and a few coolers ... We can do some tailgating while we wait ... Of course we would have to save the till after the racing ... So ... Basically I'm in, just prefering the Sept. date better. My buddy is all for it too ... he has an '04 GMC Sierra 5.3L, but needs a day out to play too ...
  18. Thanks guys ... Cancun I think is out ... We both have been, plus with what is left over from last seasons Hurricane. I haven't heard anything good about Jamacia. So what was it that you enjoyed most about the island???
  19. We should talk to Mervz and get the official "SilveradoSS.com" banner for the event!!!! ... We just can't leave it alone at anytime, the crowd at Lebanon Valley will steal anyting that isn't nailed down .... For those who don't know, Lebanon Valley is a Drag and 5/8 mile dirt track, out in the middle of No-Man's-Land. it is about 25 mins east of Albany, Ny on route 20. The link already posted is great ... http://www.dragway.com/Drags/Track-Info.html It is only a hop skip and a jump off of the MassPike Rt. 90 For those who are interested ... when a meeting time is set, I'll give you some directions ... cut down on the drive time ...
  20. Sounds good.... Either Aug. 19 or Sept 23 are good for me ... Finally an event that is only 20 minutes from me
  21. Hey All ... The wife and I need a break from the daily grind. We want to go on a vacation that is All-Inclusive. She has her heart set on a Sandals Vacation. The resorts seem nice. Just want to know if anyone has ever done a Sandals Vacation before? It seems to have more included, ie: Waterskiing and Scuba, than almost any other resort. The only thing that is a minor turn-off, is that you need to dress up every night for dinner ... But an upside to the Royal Bahamian is that it has it's own private island. The upside to St. Lucia is that Sandals has three resorts on the island, and we can use all of the amenities at each of them If you have a suggestion of where you stayed before, please let us know. Please also include a link if possible. We have done Grand Caymen, Dom. Rep., Aruba, Mexico (Gulf side). Sandals - St. Lucia Sandals - Bahamas Thanks in advance ... Shuan
