Hey All ... Looks like the weather will be on our side for the day!!!! Hope to see everyone there. You can use the MapQuest for Directions. Use New Lebanon, NY or Lebanon Springs, NY. Or Click on this link for Lebanon Valley and follow their directions. Directions from Rt. 90 To Meeting Spot and Lebanon Valley Dragway. From either East or West, take exit B3 off of Rt. 90. It will be the first exit in NY for all of you coming from Massachusetts. From the east turn Right towards the Truck Stop. From the West, turn Left towards the truck stop. This will be RT. 22 North. Stay on 22 north for about 4 miles, you will come to an intersection with a traffic light. Go Straight. Continue on RT. 22 North for another 4 miles. You will enter the town of New Lebanon, NY. This road will come to a "T" style intersection. At the intersection of Rt. 20 and R. 22. (There is a church on the left, and there are a ton signs and Blinkig Lights.) Turn Right (east) to go to the Meeting Spot. Jimmy D's resturant. Rt. 22 and 20. 200 yards away. Turn Left (west) to go to the Lebanon Valley Dragway. Rt. 20 west. 5 miles away. The Dragway is only about 5 miles west from the intersection of RT. 20 and 22. It is located on Rt.20. Directions From the North and South - Rt. 87 For all of you coming from the south Take Rt. 87 north until you see a sign for RT. 90 East. it will say BOSTON on it. This stretch of road is know as the "Berkshire Spur". It will take you right to Exit B3. Then just follow above. From the North, same thing ... Just look for the signs. Meeting Spot The Meeting Spot will be at Jimmy D's Resturant in New Lebanon, Ny. (Green Resturant) Time: 08:45 - 09:30 Hrs. Roll Out - 09:30 Hrs to the Track. Weather: WNYT - Albany NY and WTEN - Albany NY [For some odd reason Jimmy D's kicks us out. Just continue another 100 yards up the road, and on the Left side, is a commercial mall type space. I will set up there. Look for my Black SS, I'll have it parked Streetside] Be Safe ...

You are all set on the Blandford Rest Area truck stop ???? For you east guys. For all of you coming from the south Take Rt. 87 north until you see a sign for RT. 90 East. I have picked up the Grill from Wal-Mart today ... I will bring the Grill, Lighter Fluid, Charcoal, Tongs, Spatchula, and Fork ... I will also bring general condimants ... Ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc .... Anything else??? Shuan PS ... Sunday/Monday I will post some more directions ....

Two Winters on the stock wheels Get yourself a set off of Ebay ... America's Bargin Emporium .... Ebay - 1 Ebay - 2 Ebay - 3 Ebay - 4 - Nice Set Or go and get yourself a beater for the Winter Months ..... The 17" wheel and Tire combo work great in the winter .... Just need a little more of an aggressive tread ... I use WinterForce tires on my RWD Crown Vic .... Not an ounce of problems ... So, if you get the rims, you may just want a set of solid Snow Tires .... But remember ..... You truck will Spin almost anything you put on it ... Especially in the Winter Months .... JMHO ...

For all of you MassPike'ers... (Rt. 90 West) Rt. 91 intersects 90 at exit 4 which is Springfield (no real area to meet at), exit 3 is Westfield, and there is a Friendly's their. Or about 10 miles west of exit 3 is the Blandford Rest Area. It is a huge Truck Stop/McDonalds/Dunkin Donuts rest area.(It is at the top of a huge hill) That may be the best place for all of you traveling the MassPike to meet at. Time: Exit 4 to NY exit B3 (Austerlitz, Rt. 22) is about 45 minutes ... Plus about another 5-10 to meet in Lebanon .... So figure on 40 mins (Generous side of Time) from Blandford to the Meeting Spot.... BTW ... I will post some more directions later, about a week from the date. Shuan

Hey Jac ... There is no easy way to tell you this .... Yup, 3.5 hrs may be about right .... You are in Maine ... So, south to 495 to 90 west to the NY line, then first exit .... No doubt it will be a haul ...

Meeting Spot .... Lebanon Springs, NY 09:00 Hrs. Roll out 09:30 Hrs ... I just went through there yesterday. There is a huge truck stop off of the MassPike/NY 90 ... but it is huge Dirt Parking lot. Figure we don't want to get our trucks "Dirty". There is a resturant with a nice big parking lot named Jimmy D's ... But they open at 9am. About a 100 yards up the street from Jimmy D's is a commercial business space Plaza .... ATM, Gas etc... Both locations are about 5 miles north of Rt. 90 and 5 miles west of the dragway ... I will Call Jimmy D's to see if we can meet there, They do breakfast ... so if we want ... We can get some breakfast / food there then head to the track . Second choise is the commercial Plaza just down the street. There are a couple of Convenience stores, banks and gas stations there for some Breakfast, Fuel, ATM, Beer, water ... etc ... Also ... Fuel is about .10-.15 cents cheaper in this area, than getting it right off of Rt. 90 .... Give me some input .... Shuan

Nope ... But check your spare tire or behind your bumper cover. Those are some favorite spots to hide. Or the round holes in your frame by the back wheels. If they have a cap over it. makes for a nice Hide....

Don't get me wrong, I am extremely sadden for his family, and their lose. As for Irwin himself. I am not surprised that it happened, just figured it would have been a Crocadile or one of the Poisonous Snakes he keeps F$%'n with ... Not a Fish The guy was a definetly "Off Kilter" a bit. He was just as high strung when we saw him at his Game Reserve in Brisbane Australia. During his shows, he would do the same Croc Wrestling and Snake Kissing stuff.... and don't forget when he brought his new born son into the ring with a 17' croc. and fed it chicken ... BTW in Australia, most people I met thought he was a Whack Job, and didn't understand why us Americans loved him so, especially letting him make a movie.

Now that's funny .... I would now wonder what other "Hides" he has in the truck ????
